excellent position and near bus route

we have nothing bad to say about this site, it's perfectly positioned on the cliff top, with beautiful views. Access to coastal footpath to Tintagel and Boscastle. top of the access lane to the site, just stick your hand out for the bus, it goes to Wadebridge passing Tintagel, one of our favouriye places, and the other direction to Boscastle, if your fortunate to have bus passes, it makes it more enjoyable not driving down these narrow roads. The only Bad point was the long queue for the Fish & chip van that came twice a week to the site Haa haa!!

Excellent

Stayed for a week on this fabulous site (June 16th-23rd) Wardens do not treat guests like cattle as stated by another visitor, as with all sites there are rules to follow for safety reasons! We chose pitch 85 as it was grass and although we didnt get the best weather it did not distract from the amazing view. Coastal path was a challenge as we are not spring chickens any more but was well worth the hike. Shower block was spotless and the wardens were friendly and helpful. This is the first site we have stayed on that is definitely going to see a return visit. Well done to all the team

On a cliff. Popular site, so book ahead and expect being threated as cattle by the wardens

Stayed here in June for 2 nights. Many of the pitches high up on the large field (which is far from the reception) do not have seeview and from there it is quite a walk to the main block toilets/showers. Closer is the nearer portacabin which is cramped and not CC-worthy. As the campsite is on a cliff, prepar for windy weather. View is amazing (like every campsite with cliffview in Cornwall) and the site is a perfect base for visiting the popular castle of Tintagel and Bostcastle. Nevertheless it was our less favourite site of the 10 CC-sites we visited in Cornwall/Devon/Southeast England this year because we missed kindness of all the wardens. They act rule-driven even without any reason. Maybe their role is new for them or they were simply stressed during these days because of something we don’t know, but maybe they simply don’t feel up to put effort in their guests as the site is booked anyway because of the view.

Fantastic Week Holiday!

We stayed at this site 20th - 27th May 2018. We had fantastic weather all week which was a bonus! The team were friendly and helpful. the site and facilities are clean and tidy. The views are amazing! We bought a week's WiFi with The Caravan and Motorhome Club. Great signal too. We visited Jamaica Inn and the nearby 'Lady of The Lake'. Ask at the Jamaica Inn gift shop for directions. We also visited Padstow by doing the Camel Cycle Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow. We did Port Issac, Newquay, Tintagel Castle and Bude. We can definitely recommend The Tintagel Kitchen - very friendly & great service. We would definitely come again. Thank you to the staff at Trewethett Farm. We've had a wonderful time. :)

Campervan Visit May 2018

This has to be one of the best views possible from the pitch but can be windy! Excellent wardens with good system for choosing pitch on a well laid out peaceful site. Facilities very good even by C&MC standards with good MHWP. Direct access onto Coastal Path from site. Fish & chip van visited Wednesday - very good but beware large portions. Easy access to site as long as instructions followed.

Best pitch ever!

We stayed here for two nights with our 2 adolescents of 13 and 14. We all had a great time. Especially the wanderings to Tintagel and Boscastle were great. Beautiful views and sunsets. The pitches are the best. Everyone has a magnificent view from their vehicle because of the way the pitches are located. We would love to come back some time in the near future!

A Stormy Night

Stayed here in April 2018 with the intention of walking the Costal Path which is easily accessed directly from the site. The staff were charming and facilities clean and tidy. We pitched directly on the front with spectacular views over the coast. The warden suggested we didn't put up the awning on my camper as the forecast was for high winds. That proved good advise as boy did the wind blow, at one stage I thought the van was going over but the weather always feels worse inside a camper. The walking is challenging and not for the feint hearted but was just what we were expecting. Only downside is no pub close by but apart from that an excellent location to get out and explore Tintagel an Bocastle.

Wow ! What a view !

Right on the edge of the cliffs with uninterrupted view of the Atlantic and crashing waves . Pitches were a bit tighter together but all have this fantastic outlook. Facilities are good ( although I could have done with a bit of heating in the gents facilities last Sunday morning ) Following the precise directions to get there is important - Avoid taking a motorhome though Boscastle ! Again, parking or even driving a motorhome in Boscastle or Tintagel is not really possible but you can walk the coastal path from the site. This Cornwall site like all the others we visited last week is more suited to caravans where the use of the car is key to getting into the wee and twee coastal villages.

Beautiful Site

A beautiful site with outstanding views we always have a great time when we stay here with loads of brilliant and beautiful places to visit. One thing to note if it’s windy just watch your awning it can get damaged in the wind. All in all a sight to visit Mike Hewitt a Motorholme camper

Superb Site next to the sea

One of the best sites we've ever been to. It was quiet as it was October, so we had a prime pitch directly overlooking the sea. Hardstanding was flat (they aren't always), short walk to first rate toilet block - well heated, everything worked, roomy free showers with lots of pegs and a seat. Location is great, 50yds from coastal path, and very scenic walks in both directions, to Tintagel or Boscastle, with lots of geological features like stacks, arches, caves and the spectacular blowhole at Boscastle if you get the tide right. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good Motorhome Service point with grates on both sides if required. All it lacks is a pub in walking distance - but nothing is perfect. Loved it.
