We stayed during a very wet 2016 Easter week and had a lovely stay. The wardens were very helpful and friendly and the office always manned. The shop stocks the essentials and also a local mobile butcher and fish and chip can visit each week. We're surfers so it was a great location for the beaches and having the outside wetsuit shower was handy too. The facilities were always clean and warm, and a tip for the ladies, the first shower on the left is the most powerful. I used the book swap in the laundry room which had lots of books to choose from. The only downside I can see is that the toilet block might struggle in high season as there is only one. Other than that we would definately consider visiting again, even if it's only for the daily exercise of walking up the hill to the toilet block. Finally there is a super children's park, which had equipment to cover all ages, as often having boys of 11 & 14 there's no equipment for them.
Recent stay
What a lovely site. We stayed for nine nights very peaceful. Well looked after, wardens were lovely, spotlessly clean. The shop reception stocks basic things which is handy. People staying were also very friendly.
We do not have children so cannot comment on facilities for them but looked a lovely safe play area.
We would not choose to stay in very busy season one large toilet, shower block but wonder if enough when site is full. Handy for Newquay, Perranporth and lots of other places. Will certainly be back.
Treamble in the Spring
Just returned from a super break at Treamble, it is a few years since we were last there and did not disappoint, the site had just opened for the season and looked wonderful. The staff are so helpful and make it even more enjoyable to visit.
We will be back.

Excellent site
Excellent site, Really enjoyed our 2 days there. Spotless facilities. Really loved my walks there, fantastic views and lovely signposted tracks. Had nice weather in March and the wardens were fantastic and fiendly.
treamble valley/so nice
i have never written a review before, but after reading some not so nice reviews,we did wonder whether we were doing the right thing by booking on this site.We stayed on this site at the end of october 2015. The last week of the season. there was plenty of pitches to choose from. what a fab spot. If you like walking you are spoilt for choice.Facilities were spotless. and the wardens Ray and Viv Bond could not do more to help.Excellent dog walk. Someone said not enough dog bins, but we saw at least 3.would not stay in the height of the season, only because we use small cl,s when the big sites are busy. but will be back (out of season)

Beautiful Site
Second time here. Weather mostly awful, but the welcome was as warm and helpful as before, and the site just as beautiful and well kept. Dog-friendly site with many walks, and a gated free-run area. Just wish certain less-responsible dog owners played fair (as most of us do). Only other "problem" is that the whole site slopes steeply down the valley (pitches are leveled well though). If disabled (like my wife), remember to bring your mobility scooter - a wheelchair or sticks are really hard work to get around this spacious site! Local road access isn't good, walking offsite needs a bit of thought. Better still, ask the wardens - all genuinely nice people. Wifi is quite good and TV booster - no mobile, radio or TV signals at all. Overall, nice place to spend the time...
Pretty site near Perranporth
I was a little worried about finding this site as it is well off the beaten track but by following the Caravan Club instructions it was no bother at all.
There is a long steep and winding narrow road up to the site and as motorhome owners we were impressed with the amount of caravans at the site. It is very pretty looking as you arrive at the top of a hill and look down into it. It has large spaces and lots of little nooks and crannies too. The dog walk is great but up a steep hill but set out in a lovely way with little pathways in a variety of directions. Fantastic childrens play area too (we always look with our grandchildren in mind). I think our only concern would be that there is only 1 toilet block and it is quite a walk from some of the pitches. In October it wasn't a problem for us as we parked on a hardstanding fairly close by and had plenty of choices of pitches - but in the summer! Also it was quite a pull from the lowest areas of the site as it is set in a steep sided valley. It really is a pretty site and not so far off the main roads that take you to the very many places to visit in this part of Cornwall

Great staff! Great location! Great time thanks!
Fabulous site! Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay on a very well kept and run site in a wonderful setting. The wash facilities are excellent, the dog walks are second to none (as someone else pointed out perhaps a couple more dog bins would be helpful here and there) and if you are a keen country walker there are several paths running through the site and beyond.......The new children's play area appears to have everything to keep the young caravaners occupied and happy. All round a lovely friendly, we'll run site in an idyllic location. Hope this helps anyone considering visiting this site and area. Phil.
Helpful friendly staff and clean facilities
We booked for just one night as a quick, relatively local break (45 minute drive from home). The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when my husband had toothache and we needed to 'phone our dentist to get an emergency appointment.
The facilities were very clean. It is an attractive site which slopes and has a lot of trees. The approach is quite narrow and the directions in the handbook are very clear. I can't comment whether good for families as we left quite early due to toothache!
We would visit again.
Lovely site but . . .
We were directed to our pitch which we were told had been saved for us as it was just off the road and easier for a motorhome to access after all the heavy rain. Unlike other reviewers we found the lady warden very helpful, warm and welcoming. Good dog walk but need a couple more bins for poo bags around the site - our dog is very good but we have been unable to train him to wait until he is near a bin!
My 'but' refers to the distance (uphill) to the toilet block - as a lady of a certain age my partner prefers to be close to a loo. We did also sink on one side into the ground making us feel we had had one glass of wine too many!! And very restricted tv reception/stations - we were reduced to watching Prime Suspect which we were following on my 7" tablet.
All in all we enjoyed our three night stay and were lucky enough to have one and a half lovely sunny days.
