We stopped for 4 nights in August 2015 and had a great stay. It was our first stay at the site and we had read some negative reviews about rules but I can deny them all.
The site wasneat and tidy, perfectly maintained and with friendly unobtrusive staff so as far as we were concerned it was perfect. Situated within the Sandringham Estate it was handy for touring locally and all the local towns, seaside etc.
Oh, the weather was perfect too.
2nd Visit
Our second visit to this site because we enjoyed it so much. Very pretty, wooded site with all faciliities up to the usual CC standard. Lovely being able to walk in the Sandringham Estate and the restaurant there serves very good food. Also nearby Kings Lynn is an attractive, historic town and we found the farm shop on the first roundabout to Kings Lynn sold excellent produce if we wanted to cook for ourselves.

Good location
We stayed at this site so that we could visit Sandringham house and we weren't disappointed. It is a lovely site with friendly and helpful wardens. The two minor things we found was noise from the main road nearby and the number of male and female toilets and showers. There is a bus stop outside the entrance making access to the house very easy. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
First Visit
This was our first visit to Sandringham Site, We attended to coincide with the food and drink festival at Sandringham. Well it was advertised as Sandringham but in fact was West Newton. We walked from the site only to find we had walked the long way round. we asked one of the Sandringham wardens (Louise), who kindly directed us to yet another 2 miles walk. We set off again, but to our surprise a car hooted their horn and it was the lovely Louise who offered us a lift to the Food & Drink site.We were very grateful and it has shown us that there are some kind people in the world. THANKS LOUISE. Regarding the site we were surprised that you could hear the noise from the road. But apart from that the usual club site layout, but the toilets probably need updating.
Sandringham
A lovely site with nice friendly wardens. Good big pitches and whole site well kept. Very central for touring the area with a good bus service. Plenty of good cycling to the lanes around the estate. The only downside I found was irresponsible dog owners. We were having our breakfast one morning in our awning when a member with two dogs allowed one to foul on our pitch right outside our awning door. To say we were annoyed would be an understatement. The site has a lovely walk up through the forest which again is littered with dog fouling which means you have to continually watch where you put your feet.
It's a real shame for owners who do clean up. I don't know the answer but something needs to be done about it.

What a difference
We have visited Sandringham for about nine years and have enjoyed our stays except when it was run like Colditz one year. This year is the best l have seen it look for a few years.Everything on the pitch was very clean plenty of shingle on the pitches and well weeded and clean all round.Pity about the virus which attacks the dogs in the woods surrounding as this stops us visiting later in the year.Let's hope they find the problem soon Thank you for a lovely stay pity about the weather which cannot be controlled.x

Very pleasant Stay
We stayed for 6 nights in July. The pitches where we stayed were a good size with an open area behind us. I have to agree that the toilet facilities need to be increased in size but everything else was good. We shall return .

Sandringham Camp Site Review
Overall our stay was very good, the only criticism was that for the large number of pitches the amount of toilet and shower facilities was hardly adequate
A Quiet Stay
Stayed July 2015.
A lovely site in the forest with excellent washroom facilities mostly flat but on two levels. Reception has small shop but there is nothing else.
Bus stop outside gate in local supermarkets you can park a motor home. You can walk to Sandringham House (1.5 miles) or through the woods.
Nice seaside place is Hunstanton with motor home parking next to the promenade and town centre (all level, £3.50 4rs).
