Excellent site just returned from our second visit. It was quiet and peaceful even though full. All facilities were clean and wel maintained. Site warden's were friendly and helpful. The site perhaps is better suited for older couples. We will be there again to see in the new year.
Site from heaven
Just returned from a glorious week on this gem of a site very peaceful and relaxing, friendliest wardens we have come across for some time, good location nice forest walk to Sandringham house, as Arnie said "we will be back"

Friendly site, Lots to do, Spotless facilities,
Stayed her at the end of June for a couple of nights. Very welcoming clean and quiet site, We are a couple with a motorhome and had decent pitch close to the facilities which were spotless, Everyone on site seemed so friendly. We walked through the woods on the well sign posted route to Sandringham, used the local bus service to visit the much improved town of Kings Lynn etc. We had a really enjoyable stay. Thanks "we will be back"
Far too busy!
We had booked in advance and when we arrived there was a queue waiting to book in. A warden suggested we skipped the queue and went to find a pitch which we did. The site was packed with vans very close together and we did wonder whether to stay. We eventually found a pitch and pitched up only to be told that I had accidentally booked a pitch without an awning and they didn't have any with. My fault entirely. As we wanted to put up an awning we decided to leave and go to Thetford.
Glad we did! I think there was some event on at the time. There are far too many pitches on this site to make it comfortable.
To give the wardens credit, they did find us a pitch as we left but didn't tell us until we had hitched up again and arrived at the gate, Don't think we will try this site again.
Not the same!
Just came back from a weeks stay. This was our first visit this year. Stayed at this site several times last year and planned to stay more times this year. Staff have all changed since last year and they seem to be finding it difficult to settle in. The site does not look as well cared for with the hard standing pitches not maintained as per last year. We were looking forward to our visit but did not enjoy it as before. The site is very busy and it is difficult to choose a pitch, in fact you seem to have to grab one when you see it. Dog owners not respecting others using the site(not always using the "dog walk" and speeding cars just add to our disappointment. Maybe the over demand for this site in causing the problems.
Short Break
I enjoyed a short break on this site in June. The whole site was well kept and the toilet block was very clean. The wardens were friendly and helpful when I needed some assistance. There are some very pleasant cycling routes from the site. Wolferton, with the Old Royal Station and Dersingham Bog nature reserve are worth a visit and within very easy cycling distance from the site. A pizza van visits the site on Thursday evenings.
