visiting food vans a bonus

Stayed here along with other family members as we had a party to attend in Kings Lynn. Added bonus to site is Pizza van, fresh Meat van, Fish & Chip Van, plus a well stocked small shop in reception. All the usual apply, friendly staff, well kept site and facilities. Handy toddler bathroom and play area with 2 sections, for smaller or older children. Ā  As a family we had a lovely picnic at Sandringham Country Park, with walks in the woods and children's play area. Wolferton station is well worth a trip.

Short Stay

This was are second visit to this site and again we enjoyed the postion in the woods with an easy walk through the trees to Sandringham House & Gardens. This for us was a first with a new motorhome & our new westie called Molly, both performed well!! Fish & Chips were very good on Monday night from the visiting Chip Van ! The site staff give a nice welcome & look after the site very well, always busy around the site!! We will return soon!Ā

Best site ever

Excellent site just returned from our second visit. It was quiet and peaceful even though full. All facilities were clean and wel maintained. Site warden's were friendly and helpful. The site perhaps is better suited for older couples. We will be there again to see in the new year.

Friendly site, Lots to do, Spotless facilities,

Stayed her at the end of June for a couple of nights. Very welcoming clean and quiet site, We are a couple with a motorhome and had decent pitch close to the facilities which were spotless, Everyone on site seemed so friendly. We walked through the woods on the well sign posted route to Sandringham, used the local bus service to visit the much improved town of Kings Lynn etc. We had a really enjoyable stay. Thanks "we will be back"

Far too busy!

We had booked in advance and when we arrived there was a queue waiting to book in. A warden suggested we skipped the queue and went to find a pitch which we did. The site was packed with vans very close together and we did wonder whether to stay. We eventually found a pitch and pitched up only to be told that I had accidentally booked a pitch without an awning and they didn't have any with. My fault entirely. As we wanted to put up an awning we decided to leave and go to Thetford. Glad we did! I think there was some event on at the time. There are far too many pitches on this site to make it comfortable. To give the wardens credit, they did find us a pitch as we left but didn't tell us until we had hitched up again and arrived at the gate, Don't think we will try this site again.
