We enjoyed this site very much. Wardens were superb and the walks were beautiful as was the House. We liked Hunstanton and walked the dog along the beach. I went to a very good patchwork shop for fabric. I also went to Kings Lynn for shopping. Our Westie really loved chasing
the pigeons and we were glad we stayed 10 days as we filled our time there very well.
We had fortunately booked in advance. It was well worth it.
A very pleasant site with well set out pitches, standard immaculate facilities and wonderful walks through the forest. Sandringham House is an easy 40 mins walk away and well worth it (you can drive if you like, loads of parking).
The motorhome service point is easy to access.
As our first trip trying out the caravan lifestyle we must admit we thought it was alot easier than anticipated. Directions were spot on. Friendly helpful staff on arrival and clean, warm showers. Loved the fact that you could enjoy all the lovely woodland walks without moving your car. Perfect for my 3 yr old daughter to tire herself out with all the lovely fresh air. Shall definately return
We were here for 5 nights over August bank holiday. Despite picking the worst two weeks of the year for weather the site was lovely, very busy to start with, great playground for children if you have them, we were parked at the top end of the site in a quiet spot. Nothing but pigeons for dawn chorus! Not a problem, we were invading their territory. Was pleased that site had pizza van came to site - very good baked to order for you and fish and chip van. Highly recommend trip to Sandringham, lovely restaurant and was pleased house fully accessible to me as disabled. Enjoyable visit.
This is our 4th stay and as always this site doesn't disappoint.
Despite appalling August bank holiday weather the wardens were cheerful and helpful; the site is beautiful and tranquil; the site has weekly visits from the fish and chip van and the pizza van and simple (milk, bacon, eggs and cream teas) are for sale in the office. Good dog walks, but the roads (major and minor) are near and so if your dog likes to fly off after rabbits etc then he/she is best kept on the lead. Also ask the local vets about the seasonal canine illness.
Sandringham House (well worth is visit) is within comfortable walking distance (45mins) but don't, like us, get lost on the way back!!
Beaches and pubs plus shops are about 20 minutes drive away and the local bus service is good.
This is one of our favourite sites.
Great site, clean facilities, great play area for the children and in a good location for Sandringham Estate plus Hunstanton and other coastal areas, love Brancaster beach!! Lots to do in this area, had a great time and will visit again!
This is our 3rd visit and we have another one booked. Love the site and so peaceful. Beautiful walk to Sandringham house to. No mobile signal and WiFi poor t hi.
We have visited this site before and like the location and surroundings. Although there were a lot of children around being school holidays, we were tucked into a corner so weren't really bothered by them. My only gripe was the wifi. I paid for 24 hours which cost £2.50, however the service is rubbish! I was only online for about an hour, then got kicked off and was unable to get on again, just kept getting an "unable to connect" message. Pages took an age to load, some bemails would not even download - to be honest they should not be providing this "service" when it is so poor. Better to say there is no wifi and leave it at that in my view. it was only when I complained on our way off site that I was then given a leaflet explaining that the service could be bad. If I had known before I wouldn't have paid for it! Will be taking it up with the CC.
