Brilliant site, excellent location, lovely facilities EXCEPT.......wifi. I reckon that they must use the Pink Footed Geese as routers and the wifi only works when they fly over!! It was pretty hopeless.
We really needed it whilst away
a. To keep in contact with clients
b. Expected an email from Hospital calling our son in for a heart op.
Now that was pretty important.
Come one CC can you sort out the internet at this site. Shame I have to post such a negative comment about an otherwise brilliant site. Modern life I suppose but we have become so used to the internet that it is juts as much a part of everyday life as emptying the loo. Café at the Garden Centre in Snettisham has free wifi and it works hurrah!
Good site
We have used this site in October for many years and as usual the site was well kept with the facilities well maintained.
A great site for walking, bird watching, enjoying the autumn colors of the trees, fruits and fungi or just taking it easy.
The bus stop at the site entrance makes it very easy to go green for a while and not depend on the car.
As usual we will be visiting again.
Great Location
Friendly,helpful wardens!
Lovely quiet site set in Sandringham Forest.
Excellent facilities and well kept site.
Showers/toilets were clean whenever visited.
Ideally positioned for walking and several villages within a few minutes drive.
As we went in school time there was only a couple of children which made it peaceful, but we would take the grandchildren one day as it seemed very safe on the site.
We will return!
Sandringham
Lovely location. Well kept and organised site for adults. Facilities clean and modern.
Great for kids if they like walking or the small playground on site otherwise nothing in the immediate vicinity to keep them occupied. No ball games allowed.
excellent site
We stayed for 4 nights 27th Sept-1st October
When the sun came out,
Lovely site, lovely friendly wardens, toilet block spotless, a pleasant walk through the woods to Sandringham, easy to follow arrows and way markers going, a little confusing coming back. Sandringham Church is amazing, lots of places to walk your dog, not allowed in the grounds of the house and gardens, the visitors centre is well stocked with gifts, restaurants and snack bars, for ice creams and coffee. Dogs are allowed in these areas. well worth a visit, also worth visiting is the Lavender Farm, Holkam hall and grounds.

Sandringham first timer
Spent three nights at this lovely site from 25/09/15. Site is easily reached on good roads, the bus service is very good to both Kings Lynn (bus stop outside gates over the road) and Hunstanton (bus stop outside gates on same side as site) change at Dersingham for Hunstanton.
The walk to Sandringham house is very pleasant and took us about 45 mins, please note that there has been a recent case of seasonal canine desease reported, so best to keep dogs on a lead when walking to the house, or elsewhere in the forest, keep to the paths. Again, three nights is just not long enough to do all we wanted, so we will be back early next year, I think that Sandringham is a site that could grow on you. We will return.
Super site
Stayed here as a last minute booking but so glad we did and will certainly be going back.
Lovely site, friendly Wardens, great places to visit in the area if it's good enough for the Queen its good enough for us.????
Tranquility
We had a lovely time at a lovely site in a lovely location. Sandringham House is delightful.
The wardens are very welcoming and sociable. They look after the site in a way that endorses CC standards. We`ll be back.
beautiful week
just got back from this wonderful site having stayed here for 1 week ,we were blessed with lovely sunny weather and the site was up to the clubs excellent standards with spotless facilities.the walk to Sandringham house is easy and to go around the house and gardens is a must, especially the church. There is plenty to do in the area and you have to travel along the top coast to visit all the nice beaches such as Wells ,Hoakham bay .i would recommend this site and i will return next year (hopefully with the same weather)
Woodland Bliss
The site is great, clean convenient and well maintained by friendly hard working wardens. The location within easy walking distance of Sandringham House is a major plus point, together with all the great woodland surrounds. Our second visit and won't be our last.
