First visit to Sandringham for a number of years & forgot what a wonderful site this is, helped by very friendly wardens who keep the site & facilities spotlessly clean , excellent walks from site & so many places visit.... It won't be too long until I return. ..
AWAY FROM THE MUD!
WE WERE ON A RALLY IN A FIELD WHICH TURNED VERY MUDDY! WE RANG THE SANDRINGHAM CLUB SITE AND THEY ACCEPTED US STRAIGHT AWAY, EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT HAVE OUR CLUB CARD WITH US. WE WERE VERY, VERY GRATEFUL AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY - JUST WISH IT COULD HAVE BEEN FOR LONGER BUT WE WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN NEXT YEAR - FOR LONGER!!

Peaceful and sheltered
Another good week here. We suffered 2 gales but with the shelter of the woods, we were well protected. This is a good site except for the limited toilet facilities. 3 men's toilets in one block and 1 in the other means that there are queues most mornings. Plenty of wildlife including birds, rabbits and squirrels. Pitches are large and mostly well drained.
Absolutely Fine but for other less caring Caravanners
The office closes here on the dot of five - it's not good to arrive after this time - the wardens shut up shop sharpish.
I do agree with some of the reviews here - the shower facilities do need upgrading and the water pressure into the shower is poor in some of the cubicles.
The cleanliness also isn't fab - but not because of the fault of the caravan club - but because guests using the facilities do not clear up after they have used the cubicles. I watched as even some of the mature guests just left without even mopping their cubicles after they had used them - obviously someone elses job and not theirs - please - it's everyones!
Guests also don't help by walking into the cubicles straight from taking their dogs for walks in the woods - leaving mud everywhere! The wardens can only do so much. We need to clean up after ourselves - it's not a hotel! If you want someone to clear up after you - then change your holiday choices...
We are new to caravanning yes - but we love it - and we clear up after ourselves - leaving things as we would expect to find them. We just wish others did too.
Ok, room for improvement
Stayed here with our dog end of October. What a shame the woods were out of bounds due to fungus threat, not the Club' s fault though. Anyway, this club is pleasant. The staff are helpful and friendly. Showers could do with upgrading, pretty tired and pressure is very poor in one of the three .... check first before you commit! The site could with a little TLC in terms of prettiness like its neighbour the Camping and Caravan Club next door.

Good site
Good site in a nice area - good walks, coast close. My only complaint is that too many of the pitches are "side sloping" and therefore the choice for my motorhome was limited.
Very peaceful
We enjoyed our late October 2015 visit very much.
The site is quiet, facilities very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the get in/out very easy. Pleasant forest walks from the site, and Sandringham itself a good stroll but worth it. Easy to get to most places around the delightful North Norfolk.
We didn't have the grandchildren along but I suspect they would have been a bit bored after a couple of days as the site isn't in easy reach of anything for youngsters.
Pizza and fish and chip vans were welcome changes. Could do with a gin van!
Recommended.
Busy Site, Shame about the WIFI
The site and facilities are as you may expect immaculate, and the wardens were very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to Sandringham House and is surrounded by forest. We were surprised at how busy the site was in October. There are no pubs/restaurants within easy walking distance so if you plan on eating out ideally you need a car, though there is a bus stop by the gate, otherwise a mobile chippy and a pizza van visit the site regularly. Only downsides were; the wifi, which was terrible, and as we had a dog with us, the news on arrival that the forest has given rise to cases of canine seasonal disorder in the past and it is therefore not advisable to walk your dog in there in the autumn, which was a great shame. This should perhaps be flagged up a bit more clearly when dog owners book the site at this time of year.
October stay
Overall very happy , bit disappointed that we can't get in for a week at new year commencing 31st.
