Sandringham Visit

It was our first visit of the new year and what a lovely place!! It didn't start great with my shall we saw awful attempt at reversing on to my pitch however in my defence I am still very new to all of this. The wardens were helpful, kind and polite.  The site looked lovely and in the summer it must look so much better!! The facilities are fantastic for families and we will 100% be back and would recommend it to everyone.

One tiny little moan .....

This is an excellent site with everything you would expect, including friendly staff who even lent me a TV hook up cable for the weekend. However, just one tiny little moan - the laundry room contains what is probably the smallest washing machine I have ever seen on a Caravan Club site. In fact, I was unable to fit my normal washload into it. Perhaps an investment into a bigger (normal) machine would be a good move!

Great site

A wonderful site to stay at with woods suurounding and Sandringham Estate a short walk away. We visited the north Norfolk coast as well and even got over to Cromer for some delicious crab. Highly recommend.

WOW

After wanting to stay here for some time I have eventually made it, and needless to say I am not disappointed. I am here with my 2 cocker spaniels while recovering from a flu virus so haven't ventured too far but have explored the woods and I must say they are amazing. You can walk for hours without actually going too far. The weather has been kind but even though there must have been plenty of rain over the last few weeks there is no mud anywhere. The facilities are as good as any other CC site. There is a fish and chip van which comes a few times a week by the look of it and they drive round the site before parking up making everyone aware. The site is lit well enough at night so that you can see well but not too much that it spoils the feel of the night. I am sure we will be back during warmer times too and will explore more.

Great location

Our first visit and it was very impressive with lovely walks in the woods all round and a great place for dog walks. Close to some interesting places like castle rising and also some nice pubs for an evening meal in Dersingham. Lovely site with 5 star facilities and very helpful wardens .

Getting Away from Storm Imogen

Great site in a great location despite the weather. Facilities outstanding. Went to King's Lynn on the bus (£8 return for 2), although there is MH parking in the Austin Field Coach park at £2.90/day. Great walk in the park and surroundings. Titchwell Marsh is worth a visit if you like bird watching; RSPB so FOC for CC members. Staff were great, we needed a TV cable for the site booster but there were none in the shop, so the warden said "I think I have some cable and connectors somewhere I'll bring them round" 15 minutes later he turned up apologising the he couldn't make up the cable because he had not got his glasses! Great service - thank you.

A week of de-stressing

A lovely site with the usual high standards I've become used to from the Caravan Club sites.  Set in woodland with an abundance of walks from my caravan door as well as blustery beach walks a few miles away, this was an intended week of relaxation, and that's exactly what it did. A couple of moments of concern when the TV reception blipped in the middle of a 6 Nations game but it stuttered back in time for the second half :) My first visit to this site and it definitely won't be my last. As usual, I couldn't fault it. Thank you Caravan Club.

A good short winter break

It was a spur of the moment decision to have a few days away in the cold! We were not disappointed, thank goodness the immaculate sanitary block was well heated. The hard(ish) standings were the easiest ever for pegging our awning, thank-you.The walking was good but the Norfolk Coastal Path was unexpectedly muddy. H.R.H. has excellent taste in carpets, the one in the Sandringham cafe matched our dining room perfectly.
