Fantastic Stay

Myself and my partner enjoyed a fantastic long weekend break away at this site. The site is very modern, the wardens are very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this site to anybody that would like to stay. The nearby walks are fantastic and we also enjoyed our trip to Sandringham House as well, which is only a short distance from the site.

By Royal Appointment

A site we never tire of visiting, spotless/ modern and now with the added advantage of a small enclosed dog walk on site. The fish and chip van and pizza "Yes" pizza van offer good food at reasonable prices to give you a day away from the cooker.

Great site

This is a great site well maintained hard working wardens friendly and helpful. So many places to visit Kings Lynn/Spalding/Ely a visit to the coast Cromer and Hunstanton. A lovely walk through the parkland to Sandringham house and whilst we were there the Game Fayre I would definitely return  the only draw back the dancing pigeons on our van roof around 4:30 but we soon got use to it  Fish and chips from the visiting van are also very good

Lovely stay

Great location for visiting The Wash, with lots of great beaches for walking/bird watching. Usual good standard of facilities, although "hot" water wasn't very hot at times. TV reception not brilliant, but then you are in the middle of a forest. Pigeons might irritate some, but lots of other bird life to enjoy. Nice walk through woods to Sandringham. Site shop could stock a few more essentials such as soap etc.

Good location

The site facilities are no better than other CC sites we have stayed at and the older showers are a little small.  No privacy between pitches like many other sites and don't pick a plot near Birch Trees as pigeons love to make a mess on caravans and walk on the roof from dawn onwards. Theres a great local butchers just up the road from the site and very good prices too Kings Lynn and Hunstanton lovely places to visit

doesent get much better

A very good superbly kept site, even when full it seems very spacious, wardens friendly facilities as always very well presented whatever time of day (though I think this is equally down to the type of visitor Sandringham attracts and by that I mean the more mature members) local enough for the coast and secluded enough to be so peaceful. May even visit in the winter.

Wonderful stay

1st visit but what a stay!! Foremost reason for visit was Sandringham House, lovely walk through woods to House, amazing visit. Kings Lynn lovely town, great shops, Minster and waterfront, Hunstanton very welcoming. Visiting Fish & Chip van to be recommended. Overall stay very successful - good memories

Pitch perfect!

Our first revisit in 30 years. Why have we left it so long? This has to be one of the network's best holiday locations. Good facilities, friendly wardens, spotlessly maintained. Then add in the delightfully setting, endless walking routes, and the Sandringham house and gardens and you see I do not exaggerate.

One of the Best

This site really is one of the best. It is 5 years since we were there but the high standards that we remembered were still in evidence. Love the long walks through the woods up to the Visitor centre at Sandringham. Site is very well situated for Hunstanton, Snettisham, Kings Lynn and Wells. Lots of other places such as Cromer and Sheringham are well within travelling distance. Wardens friendly and helpful. The two disappointments we had were with outside influences. Firstly, the bus ( stops outside the site) that used to go straight through to Hunstanton no longer travels that far but ends at Dersingham although we gather from locals that there are discussions ongoing to change that. Otherwise it means a change of buses. There are buses that travel along the main road , about half a mile away, but it is a very busy road to negotiate. Secondly , there is a Pizza man comes once a week. If you want value for money this is NOT your man. We ordered a Marguerita which cost £6 and quite frankly wasn't worth the money. Other than those two minor points this site is very well worth a visit.

An excellent site

This is one of the best, if not the best, CC sites we have stopped at. Very well laid out site, good facilities, friendly staff and immediate access to lovely walks in the Sandringham Estate forest. Well located for exloring the area.
