Family weekend

Spacious pitchs, facilities well maintained lovely setting with just trees around you. Good walks, cycle routes staff were very frendly and accomadating. Will be going again. Just a shame they don't have any fully serviced pitchs. Overall a great place to stay

November stay

Stayed two nights in November. Good location for woods walks etc. Bus stop at site entrance for Hunstanton/Kings Lynn. Handy fish and chip van visits Mon and Fri. Very clean and level pitches.

3rd visit this year

Three visits to the same site, that means it is good. Close to all things needed and great wardens.

Tranquillity

One of our favourite sites, and in particular at this time of the year with the autumn colours, and when the flocks of over wintering birds and wild fowl arrive in the area. However, due to it's location, it seems the R A F want to let Her Majesty know they are here to defend the nation, all be it by the middle of the week they have appeared to have used up the weekly fuel training allowance and peace is restored. Great for walking through the forests, and so close for exploring the North Norfolk Coast.

My favourite

This is a fantastic site central to a lovely area with load to do and occupy every age group. The wardens are fantastic and the facilities are modern and very clean. The pitches are a good size, some slope but nothing a little levelling can sort out. This is a busy site and we have never stayed in peak season but off peak we love it

Fabulous site

We visited at the start of November on a cold Autumn weekend. We received a warm welcome from the lovely staff and had our choice of pitches as it was obviously reasonably quiet in November. The facilities are good, better on one side of the bathrooms than the other and the children's bathroom was nice. All really warm which we were grateful for! It is a lovely walk through the woods to Sandringham house or visitor's centre and a short drive to a Sainsbury's near Kings Lynn. About 40 minutes away is the gorgeous Wells next to the Sea. Hunstanton is even nearer and there are plenty of other nice places to visit nearby. All in all we can't wait to visit again.

Mediocre

Stayed here many times in the past without any issues, unfortunately,  having parked our caravan 4 feet away from the white post and struggled to get the awning up,on our pitch,  we were then asked to move by the warden. I did this ( another half an hour wasted) . I went to the office and asked why i had been asked to move. Apparently,  its because of a fire break. The nearest van was a good 20 feet away!  We had the smallest caravan on the site (an Eriba) yet on one of the pitches, we saw two caravans almost joined by a gazebo, yet, nothing was said to those caravaners.  Other than the screaming kids, we had a fairly pleasant stay.

Crossover.

Unfortunately we had our first three days here at half term. Kids running, cycling and scootering too fast, even after dusk. But that was our fault, we shouldn't have been there then. After they had nearly all gone home on Sunday, HEAVENLY. Wardens first class, thankyou. Watch out where you pitch, there are some deceptively sloping pitches.

Good but not great

This site is in a lovely part of the country. Loads of off road cycle tracks leading straight into Kings Lynn about 6 miles away. Also lovely walks through the forest, especially to Sandringham House. The site itself has good flat pitches & also very large, so lots of privacy. Only but for me was the shower/toilet block. There are only 3 showers/cubicle toilets at each of the 2 blocks, which is not sufficient for the amount of pitches. They also had a very dated feel to them, compared with most club sites. Cubicles also not very spacious.
