Excellant north Norfolk holiday base

Excellant site with lots of interesting things close by. Booked in for six nights and could have stayed easily for six more. Site is all you would expect, quiet, clean with very friendly staff.

Stay in the heart of the royal estate

This is obviously the perfect site for a visit to Sandringham House. It was closed when we visited but the grounds and country park are beautifully manicured and really a rather nice place to be! For a quiet and gentle site this is hard to beat. Very well laid out, spacious pitches with warm and clean facilities. It may be a bit quiet for older children, but great for walking, cycling and snoozing under the trees in the summer! Expect great wardens and the usual high standards at the site, have a great holiday.

Relaxing Break

Very peacefull site , just back from 2 nites stay , wardens very friendly and helpfull could not fault them , toilets etc as expected of a CMC site , lots of bird noises first thing from the woods that surround you , and owls at night we heard , spooky rustling too ha ha think probally rabbits or reindeers at night when we strolled around site and under our van in the early hours .... love it The top end of site was closed but looked a nice section ,our pitch we had was slighly sloped wish we had took our ramps but was not bad to be fair WIFI was hit and miss and as you have to pay extra for this service can be annoying as i like to watch netflix films at night ... would like to come again in the summer and walk to the social club advitised on one of the wood walks we went Kings Lynn and Hunstanton in the same day recommend this site we needed more time to explore COLIN

First time out in our Motorhome

This was our first ever trip away in our Motorhome and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had some small problems with getting ourselves set up, but the staff were fantastically helpful and patient with our enquiries and problem getting power. (It transpired the power post had tripped before we connected, but we didn't know that.) I am also grateful to the resident who stopped to help me sort out a problem with the toilet cassette. All in all a wonderful and welcoming start to our experience and a site we plan to return to later so that we can visit the house at Sandringham when it is open

Short break

Spent two nights at the site and enjoyed every minute of it. The site was quiet due to the time of year so there was a large choice of pitches to chose from, even if part of the site was closed. As always the toilets and showers were spotless, and although a few cubicles had been locked to ease cleaning, l never had to wait to use the open ones. The pitches were spacious and the hook up pole had a TVs booster built in. We purchased a cable from the site office (quite expensive) however it was worth the money as the TVs reception was excellent. Plenty of walks around the area and Sandringham visitors centre is just a good 40 minutes walk away. The site office sells pocket sized maps of the local area (£3.99) which came in very handy. Would recommend it and will certainly go back.

As good as ever

Just returned from 14 days at Sandringham. As we have come to expect facilities were excellent; wardens were their normal helpful and happy selves and the site was still in good nick. There is always plenty to do in the area particularly if you enjoy the great outdoors and decent good and drink. Just one thing - it was sad that the upper part of the site was not available (with no reason given). Overall though, we had a thoroughly enjoyable to and we will be back.
