This is our first time visiting this site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very easy access to Sandringham Estate. Top block washing facilities needs upgrading. I highly recommend this site for the location and quietness .
Outdated facilities and smell of sewage on site
One of our favourite sites but this time water was not hot and there was a strong smell of sewage every day. Still charging top price for poor facilities. Wardens do there best with what they have.
A favourite of ours
We visit this site at least once a year it is a favourite of ours and has been for some time.
We got a very nice welcome greeting when we arrived which is always nice from the wardens.
The only thing that needs attention are the shower block facilities they are very tired and when the site is full there are not enough.
This time on our visit there were signs stating that the boiler was only working at 50% so when busy there would be a lack of hot water, unfortunately this situation continued for the whole week we were there. Hopefully this situation will have been resolved by the time we visit again in November.
Lovely site and well placed for visiting some truly beautiful places.

Fifth stop of our September tour and somewhat of a diversion
This year in our camper we planned to visit the Peak District and some of Yorkshire however travelling from Hebden Bridge to Lower Wensleydale to Bridlington we saw many road closure signs due to cycling events on the second week so thought we would go elsewhere! In 2013 when we had our caravan we had a wonderful 2 weeks in Norfolk staying at Thetford so off we went to The Sandringham Estate! For us this was the highlight of our holiday! We visited nearby RSPB Snettisham and Titchwell Marsh had a rainy day so went to NT Felbrigg Hall and English Heritage Castle Rising and on the third day Sandringham House. Lots of woodland walks offsite just loved it. We prefer the wooded sites and this was just right for us! We didnt have a problem with the facilities they were spotless and worked which is all we ask for! Cant wait to go back but a bit far for a weekend from North Wales!
A four day break
This was our first time visiting this site and it was very busy when we were there, in fact full most days. Luckily we had good weather when we were there however many of the pictures on the left hand side as you go in our very shaded. This is very handy to visit nearby Sandringham and is a 45 minute walk through the woods. This walk probably isn’t suitable for anybody in firm due to the uneven path and lots of tree roots. As others have said before the only real criticism is the very outdated toilet blocks there simply aren’t enough toilets or showers for the number of people when it’s full. I had to queue for a loo in the morning, not nice. Also the washing up facilities are outdoors and there are only two sinks in each toilet block which again meant queueing. We have stayed in many caravan club sites and these are by far the worst facilities we have yet encountered. We cannot fault the staff at all as they were very professional and polite and the whole site is spotlessly clean.
High standards
Lovely site, excellent staff, very professional. One usual complaint - not enough gents' WC cubicles. In the upper toilet block there are only three cubicles and when the site is full queues form, not nice. Solution, convert two of the washbasin cubicles into WCs.
Excellent stay at Sandringham
Having spent a week at this lovely site, just wanted to say what a pleasure all the staff were.
Nothing was too much trouble & we were made to feel very welcome.
I am sure that the facilities will be upgraded at some time in the future, however, they were reasonable overall considering the usage and time the site has been established.
Definately a lovely week , thanks again.

Nice weekend break
Lovely warm welcome from the two wardens that were on duty. Lovely site with plenty of walking areas. The toilet blocks really let this site down, very dated and rusting radiators - on the 3 occasions I went to have a shower the blocks were cold ( no heating had been put on ). I did mention this to one of the wardens who said she would look into but still no heating. I expect better than this from club site
Late Summer Brreak
A site we have visited several times but this week was the longest we have stayed, mainly to visit the Sandringham Country show, which was excellent and well worth a visit. From a welcoming smile from the wardens on arrival to our departure it was a wonderful week and we visited places we had never been to before, like the Royal station at Wolferton where many royal families arrived for there stay at Sandringham,in years gone by, and find time to visit the beach at Old Hunstanton with its beach cafe serving excellent food, and the lifeboat station with its unique hovercraft.
Roller team 2
This was my second visit to this lovely site. The strength of this site is its location and its close proximity to Sandringham House and walks in the woods. The wardens provide an excellent service. The only issue that I found the toilets are desperately in need of refurbishment. Whilst not within the gift of the club it was so disappointing was the restrictions for the access of dogs on the Sandringham Estate. I certainly will return to this wonderful site
