Stayed two nights over the bank holiday weekend. Fabulous welcome, lovely site, great location, mature forest etc. Good size pitches with a wide variety of locations on site. Wardens were great with kids and made them feel very welcome. Pitch appeared level but was slightly off, spoke to wardens and was provided with some blocks to help me out - fabulous! Was very clean onsite. Spoke with lots of people, generally good feel onsite! Only downside is the walk to the visitors centre (not their fault of course!) - was quite a hike and would drive next time! Great weekend and have booked again already!
First trip after lockdown
Another enjoyable visit to our favourite local site for a few days weather was excellent and so were the on site fish and chips from the village fryer. Wardens were helpful as always. Visited wells next the sea and saw the new lifeboat house under construction. We will be back later in the year.
Quiet and comfortable
Quiet three night stay in December 2020. Facilities good and clean. Also the Covid19 issues were well managed, and we felt quite safe. Easy, I guess, since the site wasn’t busy.
The fish and chip van visit was a bonus- they were good too.
Pleasant walk to the Sandringham visitor centre. Plenty of forest walks!
We also went on an enjoyable bike ride which was recommended from the club website.
The only annoyance, as ever, is having to pay for the site WiFi. Be aware that the phone 4g signal is very poor.
Little interaction with site staff - but that was friendly and efficient.
A nice peaceful stay
This was our first visit to Sandringham. I would like to point out the check in, politeness of the wardens and their friendliness was top class. The site is easy to access and the toilet blocks are immaculate. However, please be aware that the site is quite sloped in places and you will probably need numerous blocks to get your unit level. I saw a caravan with it's leg fully extended on one side and then on a block around 8 inches in height!! It didn't look very safe to me. I was lucky when we arrived as the site was practically empty so chose a plot that although a lot better than the rest of them, I still needed a tyre leveller and wound the legs to the full on one side to get level. Beyond dusk, the site is full of bunnies and they like to burrow so even though the wardens inform you of this, please be aware when you head to the toilet block after dark. Some of them are quite deep!!
Having said this, it was peaceful and quiet and close to some lovely beaches. Try Snettisham to walk. Absolutely lovely beach, and the dog liked it too!
The Fish and Chip van who visited on the Friday evening was top class. Freshly cooked, big portions!
No Wifi at all, which isn't a problem if you don't need a TV, phone etc!

Lovely site.
We’ve been to this site for the past ten years and have never been disappointed. Visited 4-10-20 for 6 nights. When visiting the site in October it’s normally quite quiet and not many outfits but this time due to the strange times we’re living in it was very busy, having said that it was still so peaceful and quiet. We had mixed weather but still visited Hunstanton, Brancaster, Snettisham, Heacham and Kings Lynn. Holkham Hall is well worth a visit even just to walk around the grounds. The pay & display car park for Brancaster beach is dreadful so beware, it’s full of huge pot holes and if they’re full of water you don’t know that till it’s too late!! Site very tidy as always, lovely polite wardens.

Ideal location
This site was chosen as a base for our bird watching weekend. It was ideal in every way. It was safe and well organised re Covid, a quiet, peaceful and attractive site, friendly fellow campers, perfect on site catering (normally we would cook in the van but after a days birdwatching we were too tired so opted for the easy option. Fish and chips one night and a pizza the next. Both freshly cooked and tasty)
Lovely site
As with all club sites we have visited, the site is very well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.
There are some great woodland walks from the site and very easy to walk to the Sandringham estate. We were lucky enough to spot some deer on are walks while staying at the site.
Great location forexploring North Norfolk
The Sandringham CC site is a standard large Club site with all the facilities we have come to expect.
Things are a little different during these Covid times, but most people have learned to adapt and things are running pretty smoothly, thanks to the great efforts of the Wardens as always.
Lack of recycling facilities is a slight annoyance, but there must be good reason for that new procedure.
The site is advertised as having Bronze level WiFi but this struggled to cope at busy times in the evening and mid morning. We happened to be on a pitch close to one of the transmitters - I suspect that the signal would not be good in remote parts of the site.
WiFi has now become as essential service – even more so since the Covid pandemic and it should be a Club priority to provide the best possible service. Many restaurants and attractions now require advance on-line reservations and as there is very poor mobile signal on this site, WiFi is the only alternative.
TV signal is excellent - with a cable hooked into the booster point on each EHU post.
A fish & chips van appears on site twice a week (Weds & Friday) and a pizza van one day (Mondays, I think).
There are excellent walks in the surrounding Sandringham estate and the House is well worth visiting when it is open. There are several big supermarkets with a 10miute drive. Sandringham is a good location for visiting the Norfolk coast – Cromer, Wells Next the Sea – as well as Kings Lynn and venturing into the Fens. There are many brilliant pubs in North Norfolk.
The Wardens – as always – were very friendly and helpful and the site kept spotless. Because of Covid we didn’t use toilet or shower facilities.
Excellent stay
Well spaced pitches all on gravel, lots of good walks in the adjacent woods (no cycling) but lots of quiet roads around the estate and further. We walked to Sandringham house and from there got the bus to Hunstanton. The return bus stopped right outside the campsite.
Toilet block wasnt heated which the wardens were trying to sort out. Wood Fired Pizza top pepperoni.
Relaxing site
Spent 7 nights here, one of our favourite sites. Pitched at the top as busy and not much choice of pitches. We were rewarded with a deer coming out to feed on the grass a couple of times and also seeing one in the ferns. Safe check in, one in one out. Unable to comment on facilities as always use our own. Fish and chip van excellent, won’t be having the pizza again. Looking forward to returning.
