Friendliest Wardens Of any Site visited

This is a lovely small site. Very clean and well kept. Set in the countryside but close to amenities. The nicest site wardens we have ever stayed with. They kept to all the rules but were so friendly and welcoming, going the extra mile. They make the site even better.

Great hidden gem

Stopped off here on the way down country excellent site nice and peaceful toilet block was spotless also great staff

Peaceful site

I have just comeback from a weekend, a really nice peaceful site if you need to chill out. The wardens were very helpful and friendly.The pitch sizes are generous and level. The shower block was spotless. Would revisit if in the area again.

Great site.

Excellent site has a feel all of its own, if you need to chill this is the site absolute must, spotless, smashing wardens, going to be a regular for us, towing easy.

Lovely site

A really nice peaceful site with some fantastic views, The wardens were very helpful even helping us to site our caravan. The shower block was spotless

Lovely peaceful site

We have just comeback from a lovely weekend. The wardens were very friendly and helpful, the pitch size was generous and facilities were spotless.  Good walks in the surrounding area including a canal walk. There is a pub within walking distance but coming back its steep uphill walk.  We would definitely revisit.

Lovely Site, Very helpful friendly warden!

Beautifully kept site, very clean, immaculate. The warden and his wife were extremely helpful and welcoming, couldn't do enough for us!

lovely site

Lovely site on the edge of the Peak District. only stopped a couple of nights but its ideally situated for exploring so is worth a longer visit. Wardens are nicest we've met yet, most helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean and I think brand new toilet block. Small site but well situated for a relaxing stopover on a long journey home.

Excellent Site

We stayed here at the end of June 2016 and found it to be an excellent site, spotlessly clean and really good views from the lower tier of pitches into the valley. Warden Les and his wife Angie couldn't be more helpful and have to be congratulated on an excellent site. Make sure you follow the direction in the club book as the turning from the main road will prove difficult.

Nice spot

Stayed here for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the pitches , lovely and big and as we were on the lover part of the site slightly terraced so nice and private . Lovely walk to Spanker Inn where we had the most amazing meal . Showers spotless and plenty of hot water . My only little niggle was that the view could only be seen from about half a dozen of the pitches or while walking to the lower site all the other pitches had views obscured by thick vegetation. Nevertheless still a nice site .
