We visited this site on the way to break up our journey to and from Devon and it was a brilliant decision. Located within such easy walking distance of beautiful Tewkesbury we were able to visit the Abbey, enjoy a riverside stroll, see the town still resplendent with medieval decorative flags, and find a delicious Italian restaurant for dinner.
Facilities were well laid out and very clean and tidy, and our pitch was just what we were expecting.
A great stay and we hope to re-visit in the future :)
First time visit but wonât be our last.
We spent four nights at this site recently. It is one of the best sites that we have stayed on. We were on a service pitch which was spacious enough for us to put our awning up on with room to spare.
The wardens were fantastic. Friendly and efficient and the site was spotlessly clean. The floral displays were wonderful.
Loved the fact that facilities are cleaned in the afternoon so no frantic rush to get to the showers in a morning.
Very close to the town and historical areas of the town.
We really had a lovely time and we will be back
Great location
Negatives - Cramped, overpriced. Felt like I was a prisoner because of the security measures. Grumpy wardens, won't be back.
Positives - Great location
Good position - friendly warden
We had a 2 night stay recently to break a journey between Yorkshire and Dorset, this site was ideal as it is close to the M5 and is walking distance into Tewksbury for shops/pubs and restaurants.
It was easy to find and on arrival the warden met us at the barrier, he was friendly and gave us information on which pitch markers to look out for.
The site is clean and well looked after, the toilet/shower block was modern and very clean with good facilities.
It is a bit tight to manouvre onto some of the pitches we saw the majority using motor movers.
Most people seemed to be like us staying 1, 2 or 3 nights to break a journey and we would stay again for that purpose

Our favourite site
We always love coming here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Dawn and Mick. Dawn always remembers us đ! The location is amazing, a very short walk into Tewkesbury. Easy drive to Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Upton upon Severn etc. or the buses are handy too. Tewkesbury has many good shops, pubs and restaurants. An added attraction is the Roses Theatre. The Avon and Severn rivers make for a lovely walk to watch the boats. Shame it canât open all year but youâd need a boat probably! Renowned for its flooding later in the year.

Tewkesbury - July 2022
Absolutely fabulous site. Facilities spotless, and outstanding flower displays.
Exceptionally warm welcome by the wardens, and you are checked in, asked to select pitch and then come back and pay - great approach.
It is a busy site with lots of people using it as a stopover.
While there is no dog walk on site, there is a huge playing field just outside the site, where we could walk the dogs. The town itself is really interesting and lots of easy walks round and about.
Definitely worth a visit and we look forward to returning.

Great site, but maybe a little over priced.
Lovely welcome by the wardens, found a pitch we liked.
Clean and well kept site. Canât fault it.
Great location to explore Tewkesbury, very close to the town.
Tv reception was poor.
Just feel the club sites are over priced for us, we had a hard standing pitch with EHU, didnât use any of the facilities, for one night it cost ÂŁ33!
Great Wardens
We intended to stay here for an overnight stop on our way to Cornwall. However, our motorhome broke down & we had a nightmare with the RAC (20 hours wait) & ending up staying for 2 nights. Dawn & Mick were fantastic, supportive & helped us see the funny side of a stressful situation. Dawn changed our bookings for this site & the next site (Tintagel) to save me having to do it & allowed us to stay on the same pitch. The site itself was lovely, clean & well cared for & we would return without hesitation. Tewkesbury is a lovely little town to visit too.
Brillaint for the festival
Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is world famous and it is easy to see why...its brilliant!! Another thing thats brilliant but not so well known is that the Caravan Club campsite is right in the middle of all the action. Its a great site, friendly and well organised but as the saying goes 'location, location, location'. The High Street is wonderful and where the parade begins for the festival, less than five minute walk. The reenactments and tented village is a fifteen minute walk across the green and along a leafy lane. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely 1 night stay
We booked 1 night at Tewkesbury Abbey as we were having our motorhome hab service in Gloucester. Block paved pitches was new to us. The site is next to the Abbey and some big playing fields so this was great to exercise our dogs. Easy 5 min walk into town for food and restocking. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Just off M5 so would deffo use again as a stopover
