Stayed here for 3 nights wish it could have been 7. Wonderful site excellent and friendly staff. Great areas to walk around an ideally suited for visiting Stamford etc.

Brilliant
Our first visit and wont be our last. Can only repeat what others have said about the wardens Pete and Sue. Very welcoming and friendly. A lovely well maintained site . We loved the cycling in both Fineshade and Wakerly Woods. looking forward to a return visit later in the year.

A little Gem
We have just returned from a five night stay at this site and we loved every minute of it. Ok there's no toilet block and some other amenities which may be found on other sites but this is more than made up by location and friendliness of the wardens. The woods are a dog owners dream. First time to this site but wont be the last.

Our Favorite Brill Wardens
We visit Stamford quite often it's our favorite, saying that we have not been on all the club site yet. We love the fact we are near Finshade woods the walking is fantastic short or long. Stamford is close to visit, and finally the wardens Sue & Pete are a lovely couple and give you a really warm welcome
Fantastic Site Super fantastic Site Managers
We come to Stamford often. It is an absolute gem.A beautiful site where walking or cycling is through woods right on the doorstep.The town of Stamford is very convenient and has a variety of shops as well as the beautiful ancient spire.However, what really makes this site so special are the Managers Sue & Pete who are without doubt the best we have ever come across. They always welcome us warmly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole site is a credit to their meticulous maintenance and care coupled with their unerring kindness and warmth and we always look forward to come back.
Terrific warden
The real winner for this site is the work done by the wardens. Used the site last year on a seasonal basis to support a relative living locally and again this year when we needed to be in the area at short notice. Pete and Sue were terrific and helped my wife out when she was on site on her own.
Nice people make for nice breaks.

Helpful warden
We had a couple of nights on this quiet site. When we arrived it had been raining heavily and there were no hard standings available and most of the grass pitches were very muddy. The warden was the most helpful one we have ever come across and he made our stay very enjoyable. There are great walks in the forest from the site and a wildlife hide from where we watched a woodpecker, pheasants, blue and great tits and red kites.

Great short stay with some excellent forest walks on the doorstep. The warden was a lovely lady, she was a retired caravan club warden providing cover
Our favourite site
This is one of our favourite sites. The wardens are very friendly and remember us from year to year. The site is well kept and peaceful with woods and miles of walks on the doorstep. No need to use the car. Worth a visit

Perfect for Dogs!
It was the first time I had stayed on this site and I loved it. It is perfect for dogs, just to be able to walk for miles within the woodland without having to get in the car is a big bonus to me. The wardens were friendly and very helpful.
I arrived to find there were no hard standing pitches but was able to move to one the following day. It made my break for 2 weeks so much easier been on hard standing.
The site was clean and well maintained with clean service points.
There is plenty to see and do in the area and Stamford is just a delight.
I really will make every effort to go back to this site.
Just perfect!
