Great site and location

We've stayed here a lot, particularly in winter as all of the pitches are hardstanding and there's lots of space on them. We stayed for 2 nights recently and found that the site has been updated to a lovely standard. The 'old' shower block has been refurbished to a high standard and is very clean and warm. The water wasn't quite as hot as I would have expected and a few people commented on this to me also - not a bit problem but wonder if the boiler was turned up to winter settings?  We noted that the shower block was closed at times the day before we arrived for maintenance so perhaps there was a slight glitch. There are some great walks from the site. We walked along the coastal path to Formby [about 7 miles} and caught the train back. It was a great walk and would recommend! The wardens are really nice and very helpful, so all in all the lovely weekend. Thank you - we'll be back. x

Excellent

This is a large site situated very close to Southport and all its attractions. Just a short stroll through the park into the Town and main shopping areas together with promenade marine lake and delightful gardens. The facilities on site have been refurbished to a very high standard. All in all this site is hard to beat.

Location, location, location

The dunes to the front of the site, a large grassy park to the rear and the centre of Southport a pleasant level stroll away, this site has a perfect location.  Excellent for dog owners.  Good level site with very good clean facilities and friendly wardens.

Flagship

This site is difficult to fault. It has been upgraded to the highest standard and the pitches, toilet blocks and facilities are first class. The warden team maintain the site to an exceptional standard and clearly take great pride in their work. In comparison to many tired English resorts Southport has something to offer everyone and there's clearly been lots of investment in the area which enhances tourism. A perfect location. Pitch up and park the car. Everything is right on the doorstep. Thank you for a terrific stay.

Great site

Stayed for 6 nights on the 14 th Feb, really good site, brilliant for dog walking, with the dunes on your door step, walking into southport was easy. Very quiet, wardens always around. Only down side is that with only 1 toilet block being opened as the other area wasn't in use , was a bit of a walk. Apart from that will defiantly be returning.

Excellent quite site.

Stayed for a 2 night mid week break. Wardens very helpful, spacious pitches. Very quiet at night, facilities were excellent. Nearby Ocean Plaza had plenty of restaurants and managed to see a film at the cinema there. A good relaxing break and will visit again.

Great Wardens

We stayed at this lovely site for a few days during February half term . We were trading in our old caravan and collecting a new one and the very lovely wardens could not have been more helpful during our transition, keeping our pitch for us and generally giving us good advice. The site itself was immaculate and well positioned, perfect for a family break , with plenty to do and see. You will definitely get a warm welcome and a friendly smile here

Relaxing break

Just home from2 night weekend stay here excellent directions easy to locate. Very pleasant welcome from the wardens . Great location for the pier and seafront and about 10-15 walk to Lord Steeet. Facilities excellent and the site in general was looking good  only marked down for families as no play area- although there is a great play area in the park adjacent and an excellent one by the Lake - not one to let younger members to go alone .  Looking forward to our next planned visit
