Superb Site

What a great site, hadn’t been for a few years so didn’t know about the extended section - brilliant for access to Victoria Park and Southport shops but also great for the sand dunes to walk the dog Definitely on our return list

Fabulous site! Perfect for walks/cycling and easy access to the centre and main attractions

This was our first visit to a Club site and we were nothing but impressed. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff, their friendly and enthusiastic welcome, and eagerness to help. The site itself is ideally located with some great walks and cycle routes. There is a fab little park and large field nearby for the children and dogs. The walk into town is easy and only takes about 10-15 mins at an easy stroll pace. Victoria park is on your doorstep and also a lovely place to visit. The site itself is beautifully kept and organised and we will certainly be visiting again.

Southport Site

Been to this site a number of times generally out of season, but due to Covid-19 we hadn’t seen our daughter and grand children for over 15 months we decided at the last minute to see if we could gat a pitch in July and guess what they had pitches available. Arrival is always busy as most people want to get set up and start enjoying themselves. We were doing the same and as we have a Motorhome this took all of fifteen minutes. The site was pretty much full but the fabulous staff made sure everyone was dealt with quickly and efficiently but always with a smile. The facilities are the C&MC standard even with the restrictions that are imposed on us all. The site is well laid out and is conveniently placed for getting into Southport on foot. Either by way of Victoria Park which is adjacent to the site, or by walking across the sand dunes to the promenade. Southport Site seems to be everything to all who stay there, as is supported by so many return bookings. We’ll surely be returning.

Excellent site

I had a couple of nights here in order to go to a commitment in Liverpool. The site is less than a mile from the Birkdale train station so getting into Liverpool was easy. The site and its facilities were squeaky clean and well-kept and, as I was on the extension field, quiet. The staff were lovely, too. And I also learned some tips from fellow campers about how to keep a cat happy on a camper van holiday! Well done everyone at such a busy time and challenging year.

Geocaching Trip

Had a few good days staying on this flat site we were in the newer part. As normal the toilet block was spot on even in these restricted times, good work by the site staff. Only problem was a few owners let there dogs bark a bit too much think the owners need training. We go Geocaching and the Southport site is in a great Geocaching area so happy campers are we.

A First Class Break

We have just returned from another lovely 4 day break at this site, the friendliness and professionalism of the site staff was excellent, the cleanliness of the shower block was first class, Its a real shame when the staff go to all the trouble to ensure the safety of all, that a small minority do not want to confirm to the Coved regulations that have been put in place. Also to see one new arrival at lunch time on the Friday, then park his car on the vacant pitch next to them for the next 2 hours, so, as to save it for the later arrival of friends/family, I think personally is out of order.
