Central to Deeside and handy for the coast.

Silverbank has always provided us with a range of pleasing characteristics. It is central to many places worthy of a visit, allows numerous cycling and walking options as well as numerous coffee shops and gardens. Banchory is an attractive town with a wide range of facilities. It is a quiet site which inevitably attracts members who are friendly. The site is well cared for with the Wardens doing sterling work to maintain high standards.

Great site.

Stayed here for two weeks 14th May onwards. We were only due to stay one week but our car had a problem and needed to be repaired in Aberdeen. The Wardens booked us in for another week which took the pressure off us. We enjoyed our stay very much, lovely walks from site and Banchory is a lovely little town. Bus route to Aberdeen which is worth a visit. Big thanks to the wardens for being so helpful during our stay. Definitely worth another visit.

Queen of Royal Deeside

Stayed here early to mid June for 2 nights and it simply was not long enough to do everything in the area. It is a Great site close enough to two major supermarkets and the superb shops, cafes, and attractions of Banchory can be walked or driven. There are also shops in squares off the Main Street worth frequenting and there are many fine looking pubs Fast, efficient, and very welcoming check in with latest safety advice. Large hard standing flat pitches, excellent dog exercise area. Well laid out site with plentiful amenities for water and grey waste dotted around. Centralised shower, toilet, CDP, washing up, and laundry block. Excellent site … well done.

Very well looked after site.

Having stayed on this site a number of times in the last 3-4 years we find the site has a very high standard of cleanliness, with the grounds and hard standing pitches immaculately maintained. This is a credit to Gary and Sue for all the hard work done to keep our local site in this condition. They are a credit to the club for this high standard. Looking forward to our next visit before very long..😎😎

Enjoyable Stay

Excellently situated site with plenty to do in the local area including lovely walks, lots of castles and great places to eat. Highly recommend Raemoir Garden Centre for nice lunches and afternoon teas. If you visit Drum Castle make sure you visit the huge Mains of Drum Garden Centre which also does great food. This was our second visit and we will certainly be coming back.

A nice spot to stay.

Oval in shape with a nice lawned area in the centre, this site is immaculately kept and is a pleasant place to stay. All pitches are hard standing, level and generous in size. The ground takes a peg quite easily. There is a bit of road noise so the best pitches are at the rear. There’s also a sawmill on the eastern side of the site which generates some intermittent noise so look for a pitch on the west side near the rear. There was no 4G signal here (O2) so that was a disappointment. The on-site wi-fi is OK for emails and the like but not much else. I usually tether to my phone for internet so bear that in mind if you’re an O2 customer. I can't comment on other providers. The shower cubicles are tight. Breathe in when dressing! Banchory is a nice small town and I found it pleasant to walk round. It’s very handy for touring and there are castles aplenty, with Aberdeen a nice and handy day out. We had a special lunch in "Amerone" on Union Street and whilst expensive it was wonderful. There are Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets close by the site.

Quality in the face of adversity

These are difficult times challenging to one and all. Step up the Caravan Club! This was our first time in Banchory so we didn’t know what to expect. We were very impressed by the friendly welcome we received and the straight forward, succinct way in which vital information was conveyed. The site is nice and flat, well laid out and immaculately maintained. Covid restrictions were in place and for the most part adhered to and well policed by the wardens. The town of Banchory is about a one mile walk away which is easy going. However It is a one horse town, not worth the effort especially during these times. Tesco is a five minute walk away with Morrison being slightly longer in the opposite direction. We had good weather which helped but all in all I have nothing negative to say about this site. First class in every respect. Well done Caravan Club! We’re already booked for next month.

Love this site

We have stayed here a few times over the past couple of years due to fishing on the Dee. Last year we experience problems with our outfit following a severe power outage when we had to leave the site. It is a pity that the problems have not been fixed completely 12 months on as half of the site was shut. However that probably helped the Covid restrictions on the facilities with less people on site than expected. The facilitles are a little dated but still very clean and we experienced no issues with access when we wanted. Will stay again.

Lovely smaller friendly site

An excellent well located site situated on all main roads/routes. It is a smaller site which we prefer, well maintained, clean and tidy run by by friendly and helpfull wardens. Banchory is a good 15 minute walk away, but buses pass by the site and Tesco and Morrisons nearby for supplies. Highly recommended for a relaxing break and an excellent last stop for us on our tour of Deeside.
