The site is very clean and well looked after, very good if you have no children.
The site has more provision for dogs, than families, with no play area no area for any ball games very little for three children to do, however the charges for children are not reflective of this.
Other than trying to keep the children occupied when on site as they could do very little the site was good.
If you have a dog, they have areas for it, and a lot more facilities again the charging dose not reflect this
Overall disappointed as we had to be off site most of the time a playpark would be helpful, or a games room. Paid less in a French site for more facilities and on site entertainment with great weather than did on this site. Could do so much better.
Clean and tidy, well looked after site.
Just back from a great 3 days here. Lovely, clean and tidy site. Nice touch having flower pots beside the bins, small but effective thing to do. Only down side for me was that the mobile signal coverage isn't great. Apart from that minor detail a well appointed site. Will definitely return.
First of Many Visits
This was our first trip to this site and will not be our last. Well maintained pitches and surrounding areas. Nice walks and places to visit nearby. Toilets/showers were clean and tidy. Ample dog walking in the area.
First time back for almost 30 years
We haven't stayed here for almost thirty years and our memories of it back then were of a sloping site with no hard standings. It wasn't like that this time. This is a lovely site and is well placed for touring Royal Deeside, castles, coast, Aberdeen and towns and villages that are worth a visit as well as Hughland Games such as those at Aboyne which were held during our visit.
There were some children around but there is not much on site for them to do. Dog owners fair better with two walks including a short walk down to the Dee. Looks are great and well cared for as is the rest of the site by two hard working and lovely wardens. Pitches are just about level and the site is well screened from surrounding properties. There is a major road running beside the site and noise must be expected, as is noise from planes leaving Aberdeen airport. However many attractive and enticing places are nearby including Crathes, Fyvie, Drum, Fraser and Balmoral castles. Walking and cycling are options and so too town centre shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return probably next year. Some members were complaining that it is difficult to find pitches on club sites in Scotland in July and August and perhaps the club should be looking to extend existing or find new sites to add to the network.
Banchory Break
Well laid out park with good space between the handstands. Grass well maintained, service points clean and tidy.
Toilet block clean.
Only slight downside is traffic noise from the busy Aberdeen road which runs alongside.
Very clean
Had a good time here, shower and toilets are spotless, only gripe is the site was pretty full and with only 3 showers, there was queues to have a shower. There is a brilliant walk down by the river, along an old railway track for taking the dog. Supermarket near by, yes would definately stay here again

A lovely little site
This is a lovely little site nestling in beautiful countryside. The Castles and Gardens are all worth visiting, as is Banchory. There is a very good path for cyclists and walkers giving a rest to drivers.

Great host
Called at the site passing through the village hoping to get a pitch. It was at the last minute but the warden made us feel very welcome and booked us in straight away.
The site is lovely and spotless clean. Would stay again.
