Lovely place to stay

Just back from 4 days at this site. Wardens are helpful and keep the place spotless. Site was full at the weekend but this didn't pose any problems. Dog walk area was well kept and well used. Will certainly go back for a longer stay next time.

Children

This is a nice site the only drawback is that children are not allowed to ride their  bikes or scooters which is quite sad as  it's good to see children out playing in a safe environment as a caravan site is  the showers could be doing with being updated and increased as 3showers is not ample  for a site when full has 60 plus caravans

Great location

Nice big pitches and close enough to walk into Banchory. Very friendly greeting from wardens and the usual clean high standards of caravan club sites. I have ticked 5 star for good to families, however, must state I was travelling solo so I cannot really answer that one. I chose a nice level pitch (think they all are) with plenty of grass behind for sitting out.

Great site

A favourite site of ours good facilities always kept clean by the friendly wardens my only concern is only three showers not enough when site is full. As a dog owner I was disgusted with the owners who exercised their dogs on site and never cleaned up, even the park for exercising dogs was a mess. Another point as a member only site there is no excuse for the amount of drivers not adhering to the speed limit. All credit to the wardens on keeping the site clean. It would be much easier if those individuals were more considerate. Jim & Liz Glencross

Well located Deeside Site

A very nice site well positioned for visiting and exploring the Deeside area. Aberdeen City is easily reached with good traffic links. The only concern noted was the size of the toilet block which is small for the number of plots on site. However the condition of the facilities was always good and very clean.

Looking forward to returning

What a lovely site with great wardens. Our first trip to this site, but will not be our last. The site is so clean and tidy and with the most generous space between vans. The wardens were so helpful and keep this site in pristine condition. Toilets a bit tired but spotless and the dog walk areas more than ample. We booked for 6 nights and stayed for 3 more!

Sublime Banchory

The cleanest and tidiest CC site we've ever visited, the two wardens were tireless in their efforts to make the place welcoming. Hardly a blade of grass out of place. Nice flat pitches nicely spaced. Toilet block immaculately clean but getting a little tired, plans are apparently afoot to upgrade shortly. As a dog owner the fenced in walking area was a bonus

What a restful site

On arriving at the site first impressions was how immaculate the grass and site was maintained. The wardens were fabulous and really friendly and helpful. Plenty of walks and places to visit had a wonderful three nights here wish it could have been more. Will definitely return. On a personal note the wardens can make or break a site and these wardens definitely make this site a pleasure to visit.

Great little site, lovely for cycling

We visited this site over the weekend and were really pleased with it. It is small and well used. The facilities were clean and tidy and used considerately. Banchory town centre is 30 to 40 minute walk away, however, there are supermarkets and a PH nearby. We had two days cycling on our tandem, there is a lovely cycle way south of the site that runs alongside the Deeside Railway (good for Steam Enthusiasts) we did both cycle routes that are linked to the site, both days stopping for refreshment at the nearby Crathes Castle (Scottish National Trust). The only criticism is the path from the site to the cycleway, the bike had to be pushed as it is very poor, and would be challenging for some people and children. Plenty to do in Banchory with a great selection of eating places and watering holes, we will be back!
