Great site!!!

Visited for the second time, this is a great site nice little village with a great pub if that takes your fancy, The on site wardens are nothing short of fantastic, very polite, very helpful and keen to make sure the site is kept to a great standard. Great location for visiting, Scarborough, Whitby and all the other East Coast location, along with the national park, York and Flamingo land not to far away. The site is really clean and tidy, well maintained and good for family's, also some nice quite areas for those that want some piece and quite, Two great play areas for the kids and some nice areas to walk as well, One word of warning if your heading for hard standing make sure you take some rock pegs as the hard standing is what it says, hard!!! All in all we found this a great site and will definatly be going back in the near fututre

So many things to do.

We stay at West Ayton many times every year, be it for business or pleasure, and enjoy every moment of it. Our favourite site. Choose what to do every day from the site using the WiFi after a lovely hot shown to freshen you up for another amazing day. Their information centre near the entrance, helps you choose the coast or the moors, further inland is Pickering lovely train ride, Dalby forest for one thrilling day on the bike, York and even a trip to Hazlewood Castle if you up for a splendid day out clay pigeon shooting, plenty to do rain or shine. Our recent visit last week was as good as ever. We didn't want to come home. The grounds are so well kept, table tennis,  a spacious dog walking area, and one big open space to play ball, fly a kite or simply watch other enjoying themselves. We will be returning very soon.

A lovely visit.

We stay at West Ayton 2 or 3 times every year and never tire of it. We only live 60 miles away but this is our favourite site. Choose the coast or the moors, plenty to do rain or shine. Our recent visit last week was as good as ever. We didn't want to come home, but left just before the Bank Holiday rush. Will be back in October.

West Ayton has it all.

Recently had a 5 night stay at one of our favourite Club Sites - West Ayton. Extra special as always, grass and landscaping very well attended, facilities clean with lashings of hot water any time of day. The table tennis was more popular than ever, our Cocker loves the daily walks down to the Castle. Wardens helpful and friendly, just wish we could have booked a couple of days more!! Back again next Spring time.

Novice

Myself and my wife have just returned from a very enjoyable weekend. When we arrived and explained this was only are 2nd time and 1st on grass the wardens jumped into action, not leaving us until we were pitched and hooked up. They offered an array of advise and also provided us with blocks because our legs wouldn,t reach. We had a problem with our battery due to the dealer not explaining at handover that there was a charging unit for the battery under the seats which needed to be switch on. I went to reception and Paul came and identified the problem and explain some more functions to us. The park is very clean and quiet, toilet blocks used regulary were always clean. I would definitely being returning to the park again. A big thank you to the wardens and reception staff, you definitely went above and beyond.

A fantastic caravan site

We are a family of 2 adults & 1 small child. We stayed here for a long weekend in August. The Caravan site was immaculate, the location was perfect, 4 miles from Scarborough centre, loads to do.  Bretton Farm shop & tea rooms are just up the road, serving lovely food, and a bonus was the kids play park and animal farm to walk around. A great Find! The site is peaceful, set in beautiful landscape with lots of birds, rabbits, etc. We will definitely be returning to this site and making it one of our regular destinations.

Great site

This site was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Lovely site, good size pitches and beautifully laid out. Toilets and showers always clean and tidy. Short drive into Scarborough and also Whitby, both lovely seaside towns with great fish and chips! Pub and restaurant a short walking distance from site in West Ayton along with a fish and chip shop. Wardens were very friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Fab site and will visit again.
