Scarborough Magic

The only fault being it took me TOO long to try this site. A truly pretty site with truly NICE wardens. Great place for exploring the East coast, most are within easy distance. The site is clean, tidy and good for people with ankle biters & those with dogs. Plenty of places to walk & cycle. And if you like a gargle the pub 5 mins away is worth a try. I'd like to find a fault but can't.

Lovely place to stay

Stayed 2 nights on this lovely site, good facilities, helpful wardens and a bus route within a 15 minute walk. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

A wonderful Autumn break

This past week has restored my faith in the club sites after a very disappointing break last month at Troutbeck Head. The wardens at West Ayton could not have been more different. They are so hard working and keep this site immaculate. My wife found one of the lady wardens cleaning the taps in the toilets with a toothbrush!! Amazing! Way far and beyond the call of duty. Thank you to all the wardens for their hard work and diligence at this site. They are all a credit to the club. The location is great for both the Scarborough coastline and the Yorkshire Dales, so there is always something to do. A great ten days and we will certainly be back.

Stunning site

Our first time at this site and it's now top of our return to list. The position is excellent tucked away in a quiet valley but just 15 minutes walk from the local village which has all you need with a garage, mini market, pub with great food and an excellent fish & chip shop. Ideally located for all the East coast holiday towns with Scarborough 4 miles away, Filey 13 and Whitby &  Bridlington 22. A huge play area for the kids and the biggest dog walking area I've ever seen. This site is perfect and we can't wait to return.

Beautiful site

We arrived at this site to the most beautiful floral displays around not only the reception area but the little sitting area by the well presented information hut.   The whole site was kept immaculate and is a credit to the wardens and the club the wardens were very visible and always happy After a freindly welcome we found a lovely pitch in this busy site There are 2 dog walks and one is one of the best did areas we have ever used and the dog shower was an added plus. But why oh why do some members Not observe the 5 mph speed limit.  5 mph is walking pace

East coast Jewel

We have visited this site on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. We stayed for seven nights from the 12th September and found the site to be busy, this is understandable as its conveniently located to visit many areas along the east coast. In addition the site has imaculatly clean toilet/shower facilities, to compliment a well manicured site, managed in a most professional manner. It was a pleasure see such a colourful floral display, so competently tended by the wardens. This site is a credit to the Caravan Club and the standards it strives to attain.

A lovely stay

This was a very busy site we went in September. and there was Queue's to get in and there didn't seem to be any pitches spare while we where there. Wardens where very friendly. And kept the site clean and immaculate . The toilets where very clean but could do with updating. It was one of the nicest club sites i have been on the pitches where large. There was plenty to do and lots of lovely walks .All in all a very nice fortnight.

Bloomin' Marvellous

From the plentiful displays of flowers, both containers and rockeries, to the immaculate facilities this is a site to be treasured. Handy for the seaside resorts of Scarborough, Filey, Whitby and Bridlington, a short walk to the local village with a variety of shops, providing extensive views of countryside from just outside the site and being protected in a hollow from the prevailing wind and weather. There's something for everyone here.

Excellent well maintained site where it's obvious the wardens do well over the minimum required to maintain the site

The site has so many areas of flowers which really brighten the site up. The site is so easy to access and really well located for a number of locations on the east coast. There is a pub at the end of the road and a fish and ship shop near there so plenty of options if you don't want to cook. There is a feeling of open space on the site which adds to the appeal. The showers swerve the hottest and most powerful I had experienced for a while.
