Review

We found this site very clean and comfortable it was a lovely site all you needed. And you are near all shops and take aways the only problem was crossing the road it was quite scary crossing the road at the roundabout be nice if there was pedestrian crossing put in.

First Run out for 2017

This was our first run out for this season (2017), the site was ideal. Wardens very friendly, site clean and well kept. Just be aware when you stay in pitches 21-32 your caravan/motorhome will back onto the main road and it is noisy.

Excellent site and location

Top class CC site with all usual facilities and very friendly staff. Mostly grass pitches. TV booster required. Busy road to cross to shopping centre where there is a Lidl, Halfords and homeware stores. Sainsbury's and Tesco within walking distance. Also an M&S food, Piizza Hut, MacDonalds & KFC. What more could you want?! Bus to Bognor nearby. Also possible to take bus to Chichester, but there is about a half-hour walk to the stop. However it's really worth it.

A very pleasant stay

Thanks again, as usual a very well kept clean site. Have stayed here several times in the past is well suited as a base for touring or as a holiday site. Everything you could need within walking distance.

Excellent all round

Really liked this site as it was positive from the moment I arrived. The wardens were friendly and the site clean. Absolutely amazing that literally across the road is an out of town shopping area because it was extremely peaceful. Perfect site for walking dogs without having to even cross the road which is extremely busy. 38 acres of perfect walking land is located next to the site.

Immaculately clean and tidy

From the moment I phoned the site for a last minute booking I was looked after. Excellent service and information from the friendly wardens. On arrival, the same fabulous service, felt very much looked after. Very pretty site in a small parkland setting, how lovely to park my camper van under a small copse of trees instead of, like most sites, in a straight line in the middle of a field! Perfectly presented, excellent toilet/shower facilities, immaculately clean throughout. Convenient location for driving to the nearby beaches, and situated opposite a retail park. This is good to pick up supplies from Lidl or fast food if wanted. A nice dog walking trail is right next to the site. Amazing value for money! I paid only half what my previous night had cost in West Wittering. However, please be aware of the road noise, which the site does inform you about before you come, so I am puzzled why some people complain on the reviews! Rowan Park is next to the A29 and a roundabout so traffic is slowing and then gear changing and speeding up again so there is road noise. If you are sensitive to noise do not come and complain. However, if you like a pretty setting, cleanliness, fantastic staff, and value for money, this will be an ideal place for you!

1st Caravan Club Adventure

This was our first Caravan Club adventure in our mobile home. The Wardens were fantastic and very helpful. The site facililities spotless, people friendly, will go back again. When we booked in on the Saturday the Wardens were extremely helpful as this was our first trip, pointed out the quieter side and even helped with the set help.! great time thank you.

Nice place for a base

First visit this Sept only pitch available was backing onto the road, we found it very noisy especially in the evening and night. Went to the office the following morning and asked if any pitches were coming vacant later that day. The wardens could not be more helpful and found a pitch away from the road and placed a cover over the peg until we moved onto it. The toilets and showers were spotless. The downer was while my wife walked our Fox Terrier on a lead past a mobile home and a Rottweiler dived across the road and grabbed our dog. The owner followed got the dog off ours and took it back to the van. We inspected our dog and no injuries were found (just a frightened dog and wife). The only reason we reported the incident to the wardens was that the Rottweilers owners never bothered to apologise or even see if our dog was injured. The excellent wardens were having none of this and insisted they come to apologise to us. So for us it 10 out of 10

P2016

We have stayed at Rowan Park (on its quiet side) often, but not for 3 years.  It's a great site, the wardens work hard and are very helpful. The site is well kept and the toilet block is very clean. However, the road noise has increased 100 per cent mostly because the road nearby has been improved to take all the extra traffic from the newish large housing development nearby. It was very full when we arrived with only 3 spaces left all by the very busy road. It wasn't nice at all. We were offered a change 3 days later but we turned it down and returned home early.  Sadly, we won't visit again.
