Always a great stay here, sadly for us this will be our last trip of the season. Over the years we have been assured of a relaxing break in a great location or if feeling energetic lots to do in the surrounding area.
From next season I understand the earliest time of arrival will change to 1pm and in the interest of safety I commend the change, with the single track approach its a pity on this last visit I witnessed several owners leaving well after noon, taken together with the inevitable early bird wanting the best spot it's a recipe for disaster.
Our stay
This is our 2nd visit and was pleasantly surprised that it was still as good as the first visit...great facilities for us dog owners close to pompey and other great cities. Thoroughly recommend however can be noisy but hey kids and grownups have to play
Surprising !
This is my 1st season, I normally use CL's. when I arrived the staff were amazing.my daughter became travel sick ( the drive way is LONG ! and didn't want to get back in the car to find our spot. The warden marked all 6 vacant spots. It was busy ! I found the most amazing spot surrounded by it's own little hedge. Despite crazy weather and power cuts the staff kept the site as clean as a spa hotel Bliss! Well done super staff! The site was silent by 9. Well done fellow campers. !
Be aware you may need to turn the power cable to the right and click it into place. I didn't realise this until the ice cubes melted for my g and t on day 2 ! The staff were superb !

Great for families and ferry
Lovely big site with clean facilities and very helpful pleasent wardens .Site was popular with families .We stopped for one night to be close to the ferry ,would certainly stop there again in future
Great stay for Ferry or Hampshire
We stayed overnight after getting off the Ferry at Portsmouth only took us 15 mins to the site. It was a lovely well looked after site and the Warden was very helpful and friendly and they even had shop with some basics which was brilliant. Site was immaculate only downside was it was school holidays so lots of excited children on bikes but will certainly use this site again.

Lovely stay
Spent a lovely 3 weeks here, toilet blocks very clean and tidy, as we have come to expect at caravan club sites. Wardens all very friendly and kept the site immaculate. Wardens were fantastic with the children on site, yes very busy, but what else would you expect in August and near the coast! Will definitely be back.
LUBBERLY
Great site, clean and friendly helpful warders. Dogs must be kept on leads, but children can race around every where, even against traffic, on there bikes !! Safe considerate cycling is ok, but this has got to stop...the site itself is not an adventure park, children have a safe area to play in....all Club sites seem to allow this ....
Large Busy Site!
Spent a few days here, location very good for coast and NT places etc. Very clean and tidy, TB facilities very good. Very busy site, lots of children riding around so have to be quite careful. Will be happy to stay there again.
Immaculate site in a beautiful setting
Rookesbury Park is one of our favourite sites. The setting is beautiful, a short drive to the coast and the site is always immaculate. However, on this visit the welcome we received from one of the wardens left us feeling very flat and hardly in the holiday mood.
