Fantastic Site

Everything as expected from a CC site, entertained by the owls at night, best dog walk we have come across so far, would return again.

Family stay

We visited this site at the beginning of Aug so expected it to be busy. It is a large site, which we don't usually go for. Play area is great and surroundings are beautiful considering you are 15mins away from busy Portsmouth. Facilities were brilliant as usual and cleanliness was fantastic. Wardens were helpful and we had a very nice few days. We used this site as we wanted to visit Portsmouth docks but you are within east reach or Southampton, Gosport etc. We also went to Marwell Zoo for the day which isn't far away and a lovely day out, overall it was a great site

Excellent site our second visit an not our last.

This is a superb site with hardstanding and grass pitches, we prefer the grass pitches as they are less regimented. We had a great stay peaceful and clean, the toilet blocks are spotless as is the rest of the site. This is the best dog walking facilities we have encountered a secure field which is big enough to fling a ball all day long for our 2 year old cocker spaniel who love chasing the ball.

Overnight stay

We came off the Santander ferry and arrived at about 9.00 pm. There were no signs on the small approach road and we were frightened that we got lost at night as the site was a long way down the lane. The pitches were not demarcated, or at least we did not see in the dark. The warden came out and directed us and helped us in parking. Very grateful for that. The site was very clean and in the daylight we could see it was big and well organized.

Boat show trip

We have stayed at this site 5 out of last 6 years for a week or more. Lovely site, no noise from the outside world, generous pitches, good facilities and very good wardens, helpful and friendly. Only negative is the dog run has been cut in half to accommodate campers( only 1 tent on half the field) , still better than most tho. Will definately return , steve n sal

Excellent Location

We stayed on this site for one night over the recent weekend. Having just disembarked off an early ferry from France we arrived at the site around lunchtime. The welcome was warm and informative and having been offered a choice of hard standing or grass pitch, we were signposted towards the pitches that were vacant. The sanitary facilities were extremely clean and well kept, quite an achievement as the site was very busy and the showers seemed in constant use. We used the site as we wished to visit family in the area prior to our run back to Yorkshire the following day and having the ability to book a one night stay over the weekend was perfect for us.

Good Dog Walking

As dog owners the first thing we look for is the dog walks as the facilities on Club sites are uaually very good (as is the case here). The dog walks are excellent and varried with direct access from the site into anto a wood with several tracks. The site,,while big is broken up with hedges, is mainly flat. Very helpful reception.

Love this place

stayed here in August for 3 nights & September for 2 and will be back regularly. Really great site, lovely staff, like all CC places, toilets/showers are always clean. Great park for the kids, football pitch and more, lots of nice pitches both hardstanding and grass. Never too far from the blocks either. Been with and without kids. Great pubs with food nearby. Horse and Jockey & Roebuck Inn. Close to Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quay if you like to shop! Also the Historic Dockyard is worth a visit, but you will need ALL day or more to see it all, tickets are valid for the year, so do more than one trip and you have a chance to go see more. Overall, a great site.
