We had a fantastic break here last weekend. We have a 7 metre motorhome and tow a small car. The narrow lanes were no problem to navigate. When we arrived we had such a lovely welcome by the wardens who went out of their way to advise on the best spot to set up. Having no toilet block was not a problem for us and the price reflects this making for a very economical stay. The views are amazing. Can’t wait to visit again!
Great Site
We stayed on this site for 3 nights leaving 1st October 2017.The wardens were fantastic really friendly and exceptionally helpful. Thank you.

Site cancelled booking at very late notice!
Well it would have been nice to be able to leave a review but unfortunately we were phoned late this evening and told that our booking from tomorrow was no longer available. The gentleman who called said that a motorhome of 9m would not be suitable at this time of the year because the ground would be too wet!
Perhaps?
I'm wondering why our booking was taken in the first place and why we weren't informed earlier.
I now have to find an alternative site at very short notice to continue out holiday walking the Coast Path.
Thanks Caravan and Motorhome Club.
Too far out of the way.
I say too far out of the way because you have to travel through lanes and houses for 10 to 15 minutes to get anywhere, and for us there was not much to do when there. Wardens and site were excellent, wi fi or 4g were good, views yes great, dog walk good, to get to the beach you have to walk down a narrow busy road, not pleasant, small and not worth the walk either. Summary, good site but not much to do while there so be prepared to travel a bit for your entertainment.

Quiet and Simple, outstanding views
A great and simple site with no toilet facilities keeping the price sensible.
Lets hope it stays that way as there are plenty of sites for people who need a toilet block.
Located close to beach and coastal path.
Great access to Plymouth and South Hams.
As you leave Plymouth housing estates there is half a mile of narrow rd which can be tricky until you turn right into village lane.
Views of the sound and shipping are fantastic.
Recommended at the current price and as long as it's not spoilt by adding a toilet block and hiking the prices.
Not really a site for kids, but there are plenty of those around.

Wrong information on this page.
Our 3rd visit to this excellent site, with lovely views. Just writing this to tell you all that the information on the site on this page is wrong, but in a good way. There is full wifi over the site, not a hot spot!! What a nice surprise when we arrived yesterday. So far the wifi has been very good too.
Great location
We have been coming to this site for many years as it has fabulous views across Plymouth sound.
It has no toilet block which I know some will dislike, but that adds to the peace and quiet to be enjoyed by this site. It used to have one of the best dog-walks on the network, but this is being lost through not being kept cut, and it used to be great for children but again the great play area where kids imaginations could run wild is now lost through not being kept cut.
The wardens are very pleasant and keep the site extremely well, apart from cutting the areas stated above.

Stunning! Great Value!
This is a beautiful site, simple, but well run & clean, with very friendly helpful staff. Will definitely go back. The views and sunsets were just breathtaking.

Retirment road trip
The direction are right but a little miss leading in the site book. It talks of crossing Lairs Bridge but we could not see a name marker on the bridge, it talks of 4 roundabouts we counted only 3 before turning off and the right hand turn at the garage is at the top of the hill and is being redeveloped into a Co-op garage (Warden has placed a temporary sign to help what a great bunch they are). The bend goes left meaning you can not see the garage.Stayed here during some great July weather and the site is very well kept and the wardens give a very good welcome and site tour. The site has a very good dog walk, the beach is a 20 min stroll away & the local shop is 10 minns walk into the small village. The approach in the site book talks of narrow lanes but these are normal Devon lanes and are only 3 or 4 location. The site is well worth a visit would we return than the answer would be yes as the views are excellent.
