Fantastic Weekend

Spent last weekend at the site. Excellent facilities and park as a whole. If you want peace and quiet, i'd possibly suggest somewhere else as the kids are really enjoying themselves everywhere on the park. Ours sure were anyway! Set in the wonderful country park, it was just a short 20 minute strole to the beach and the kids loved the bike ride down. As some of the park is set amongst trees i'd suggest taking some mozzy spray as they like to bite!! Great time had. Will return!

Weekend at Pembrey Caravan Club Site

My wife and I have been trying for some time to visit the site. We have just returned from a weekend at the site after booking by telephoning directly, as once again it was showing fully booked on the club's website. All I can say is what a fantastic location within the Pembrey Country Park. We were blessed with good weather which was a bonus. We arrived at the end of the Whitsun school break and the site was full of young children riding their bikes and scooters. The facilities at the site were in my opinion were stretched, due to the site being full and the wardens were doing a fantastic job keeping everything just right. Another pair of assistant wardens should be considered. On Sunday, the end of the school holidays, what a transformation. Peace and tranquillity returned. It was noticeable that the new arrivals were mature couples looking for peace and quiet. In summary, a fantastic location which we cannot wait to visit again, but not during a school holiday. For young families this is utopia with everything a child could wish for on hand. Well done the wardens for doing a fantastic job.

Lovely time at Pembrey Country park

Just returned from a 4 night stay, 2 adults and 2 children 14 and 11. Lovely, welcoming, and clean site. The sun shone every day which gave us the opportunity to explore the park and beach. The milkman, breadman, and the expensive ice cream van visited the site daily. Much fun was had on the toboggan ride. Remember to show your caravan club card for an extra ride.

An excellent site

We visited Pembrey Country Park site for the first time last week and consider it to have been probably one of the best to which we have been. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were very well maintained, as were the pitches generally, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The location is good, with a relatively short walk (approx. 0.5 mile), into the village, for limited provisions, a v.g. Bistro Pub, and frequent buses to Carmarthen and Llanelli, although the site has its own limited mini-shop, and a bakery van visits daily. Access to the country park, which is adjacent is easy, but my only criticism is that there were no facilities open on the park during our visit, which was a disappointment. Apparently the contract for management of these services has changed recently, but if they plan to be open for the summer, then much work would appear to be needed. This however, in no way reflects on the caravan club site, which we will definitely try to visit again.

Lovely Site

Just spent three nights at this site, the Wardens were excellent, helpful and informative. The site grounds and facilities kept in lovely condition. I have just one gripe and it is not regarding the Wardens but fellow club members who choose to walk across your pitch as a short cut to the dog walk rather than use the path. Overall a lovely site.

recent stay May 2016.

Lovely welcome and the wardens were absolutely superb and helpful throughout the stay. Excellent local walks into the country park and beech, all dog friendly. Grounds maintained beautifully and the site is stunning. Would recommend a trip to the Pembury Country Inn for good home cooked food. Two grumbles, there appeared to be cars racing at night in the country park and new arrivals allowed on site from 09.30hrs, when the site rules state arrival time at 12.00hrs. Would recommend this site, thank you.

Lovely

We had a lovely stay at Pembrey, we received a friendly welcome as always.  The facilities are excellent and clean.  The plots are very spacious and very well kept as you would expect.  Would have loved to stay longer, will be back.  The park is just a walk away with lots of activities as well as the sea.  Thank you.

One of our Favourite Sites

We try to come here often, usually at the beginning/end of the season so that the dog can roam the whole beach.  The park and walks are excellent.  The weekly pass to access the park with a vehicle is well worth the money.  We'll be back.

It's GREAT that's why I keep going back

As I visit this site anything from 2 to 4 times a year I have reviewed it a number of times. I was going to leave doing it this time but, as usual, something needed saying so I'm doing a review. Negative first, PLEASE out up a name and shame board for those idiots who fail to respond to the requested 5mph speed limit, my wife and I were on a roadside pitch and I was amazed by the number of units treating the access road like a race track. Now the positive ~ superbly kept site and facilities as usual but must add that the Wardens have made a wonderful job of the flower beds from the moment you turn in off Factory Rd, the Reception area, the little boat by the barrier and a nice touch the flowers growing "wild" under the trees. This is a stunning site in a wonderful part of Wales.
