Just spent a couple of nights at this usually fantastic site, sadly on this occasion it was not up to standard. Had to put up with cold water in showers, hand basins and washing up facilities. We did eventually get some hot water after letting the water run for 2 or 3 minutes but who wants to stand under a cold shower waiting for it to warm up - it's just not good enough. I know that at least 3 people including myself complained but the wardens didn't seem interested. If the club are lowering standards then they need to lower the prices to match.
Also, I noted that the outdoor lighting was coming at 5.30 pm and not going off again until 7 am??? why is this? the prices have been hiked up to help with the cost of electricity so why is it being wasted when it is clearly not needed. Again the warden wasn't interested.
Very disappointed this time round
Fantastic Jubilee Weekend
We stayed for 2 wonderful nights over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend and loved our first visit to this beautiful site.
We travelled as a family of 4, with 2 young kids and our dog. The facilities on site for all were fantastic. Our kids loved the park and the dog was also made welcome. Having areas on the site where he could run around off lead was a real bonus.
The site is immaculately presented and the pitches generously sized. Although it was fully booked, we never felt cramped or crowded anywhere. No queuing for toilets/showers/dishwashing facilities either :)
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
We loved it so much we have already booked our return trip for later this summer.
Lovely family site
Had such a good time, lovely staff and facilities. Made to feel very welcome with a busy young family - the play area, sports fields and dog walks were most welcome
Happy Jubilee Weekend Stay
We have just returned from a great weekend, the site is lovely, the site staff where friendly and they organised a brilliant Jubilee party. All facilities are clean and tidy. Brilliant stocked shop. take away fish and chips van calls regularly yum yum.
Will definitely return.

This was a high standard site, friendly staff. We have a large TAG axel 8mtr+ Moho and had no problems with the well kept firm grass pitch. We purchased a cycle map from a the well stocked shop onsite and made full use of the local area.
We will visit again as we enjoy the location.
Great Family Site
Stopped 4 nights for the Queens Jubilee weekend. This is the biggest site we’ve ever used, it’s huge. But well up to the usual high standard of clubsites and very well maintained by the excellent staff. The holiday weekend found the site pretty much full, which meant lots of families and lots of noisy children. It’s a shame the site doesn’t have an adults only area, it’s ideally suited to having an area that could be segregated to offer a quieter area for the older couples. The site is however a little remote. Bransgore is quite a hike, as are the tearooms at Holmsley. Having your own form of transport is pretty essential. Fish and chip van was generally excellent apart from an aweful homemade fishcake made from leftover chips, uncooked onion and virtually no fish. On the whole an enjoyable weekend, and thumbs up to the wardens for the celebration party.
Lovely location, peaceful stay.
The site is a great location to visit lots of towns, villages and the coast. Our stay was very peaceful and restful and we had no noise bothering us from anyone. The dog areas are fantastic as you can let your dog off the lead. The pitches are large and facilities nice and clean. Can definitely recommend the fish and chips and pizza vans - good value and great food. The only down side is that the wi-fi isn't great but it did work most of the time. However it does say that the wi-fi is rated bronze. Overall a great stay and would probably visit again one day.
Visit early May 2022
CAMC New Forest Bransgore, Hampshire
We (2 persons and a dog) visited for 4 nights at the beginning of May 2022.
The site is large and we had plenty of space. The facilities are very good and kept that way by the site team. We were very pleased with the dog paddock which is large, secure, has a mixture of rough and smooth areas, and the dogs can roam free within it.
The walk from site is at the side of the road until you reach the open area of the new forest. No public footpaths adjacent to the site. We did a walk via new forest from the site to the old station tea rooms at Holmsley. Very nice food. To get to it,
walk past the Holmsley campsite through the forest to Holmsley mill. Turn left and follow the path for about half a mile. Turn first right on the path to the old railway line. Turn right on this path to the old station.
We also walked into Bransgore but had to use road edges and pavements. It is a pity there are no official footpaths in this direction because as the crow flies Bransgore is not too distant. A walk to the pub is an expedition.
I can recommend The coffee house cafe in Bransgore. It is opposite the co-op. Very friendly and food is not expensive. It supports the community.
The New Forest site is perfect for cyclists and those on 4 wheels.
Lots to like it's why we keep coming back..
We have used Centenary since it opened as it's location is perfect for us for visiting family. The site planting has matured so much over the years and most of the time the site is very popular.
It's a short journey to Milford on Sea with fantastic walks towards Lymington and great views of the Isle of Wight. Christchurch is nearby too. You can park in Somerford at Stewarts Garden centre free all day and enjoy award winning cakes in the cafe one of the best you will find and catch one of the frequent buses into town or Bournemouth just outside next to Sainsburys.
Aldi and Lidl are a couple of minutes from there too.
Castlepoint has a superb retail park max parking 4 hours with one of the largest M&S stores in the country alongside Next and other major retailers.
It's in the New Forest so explore it and yes there are obviously lots of dogs on site and sometimes lots of children too. There is a brand new playground this year near the entrance.
There is a lot to like although some free wifi would be nice but you will find Stewarts has excellent wifi and coffee two for one between 9am and 10am Mon to Friday.

Lovely location but some major problems
The location in the New Forest is lovely. Although please note there are no views of the forest from the site due to it needing to be surrounded by large hedges, and it is a very long walk up a road with no pavements to get into the forest by foot so you need a car, or to be willing to take a motorhome off site, in order to access the forest.
The facilities were very clean. The pizza takeaway van is to be recommended.
Unfortunately we had a few unhappy experiences during our stay.
The wardens were very unwilling to help (to the point of being abrupt and dismissive) when we requested our friend with mobility issues needed to be dropped off by car to our pitch when he visited us.
They were also very unhelpful to the point of being obstructive when we enquired about the possibility of a slightly later check out time on the day we were leaving - even though the site was extremely quiet and there were very few arrivals due in. They said it was not their policy to offer this, even though it would obviously have been no problem at all. I know it is not to be assumed that a site will be able to offer a later check out time, but on this occasion it was dismissed in a very 'jobs worth' way with no willingness to be at all flexible or accommodating.
It is a very expensive site to stay on (compared to other CMC sites), so we do not plan to visit again. We will find one of the other sites in the New Forest next time.
