Don't forget your bikes

Just returned.  We were probably the only ones without a bike!  Huge site.  Got used to it eventually. Busy reception & wardens busy.  We had a great pitch on the new area "mosquito".  Loads of grass behind backing on to wild flowers & land.  Used co-op in Bransgore a couple of miles away which was good.  Our phones did not work hardly and could not get 3G.  Big dog walk in meadow was great.

Brilliant for families

First visit to this site and we loved it that much, that we have booked to go again in couple of weeks! Staff were very friendly, always "high fiving" the kids. We have two young girls and they loved the park, and made friends very quickly. Good location for any type of holiday, walks, beach, shops etc. are not far away at all. Shower block very clean, kids bathroom was so handy!!! We also had fantastic wifi,4g!! Pitch 9!!I can't leave a review without praising the croissants and bread that was available in the shop in the mornings!! Delicious!! See you really soon!

New Forest, Old Internet

Just had more than a week here with our daughter and grandchildren. Rubbish wifi does not bother me but it's worth mentioning as you ought to be aware. Maybe it was because lots of people are using it, the site was very busy, or maybe the "house high" hedges. We try to avoid half/end of term as it's costly/noisy, but were with the family. Anyway the site is huge but very well managed. The toilet blocks were okay (cobwebs in places). Majority of traffic sticking to 5mph. Two dog walks. The one near the kids play area by far the best, the one near the entrance has too many shrubs that dogs can poop under. Sainsbury's 6 mile South on the A35. Pebbly beaches nearby too, though the nearest you have to climb down to. Perfect for trips into the New Forest. When we left we got completely stuck in traffic around Lyndhurst as the New Forest show was on at Brockenhurst. Traffic is congested here at the best of times.

2nd visit

We were very impressed with how the site has developed since its opening. The trees and bushes have matured nicely so the individual areas are screened from each other providing a nice level of privacy. The Wardens and their assistants were very welcoming, helpful and a breath of fresh air to the caravaning scene. We will most definately go back again.  David and Ellie Middleton

3rd visit this year!

We enjoy this site through all seasons although this time late July it was absolutely full. Lots of children and bikes ( which will lead to accidents as all the children seem totally unaware of any road sense) Notwithstanding we found a corner spot and had a wonderful week. Wardens are special and good sports. The extras they supply through the office in ways of cakes and meat are a real treat. A well run clean and well looked after site. We will be back !

4th visit in 2 years

We spent a week on the site at the middle of July. As usual all the staff were plesasant and keep the site well maintained.  The site is well layer out and gets quite busy in the summer months with lots of families enjoying the location. We took our Bikes with us for the first time and spent hours each day exploring the new forest, enjoying the wild life and splendid scenery. The only minor critism is the pitch we picked this time was on the mustang field near to the facilities block and in the middle of the night the boilers would switch on and they make quite a noise. You don't notice it during the daytime but in the dead of night it can wake a lite sleeper.  Apart from that we can't wait to go back again soon. Well done to all the site staff

Centenary Club Site Visit

We stayed at this CC site in July 2015, the wardens are very friendly and helpful, they even bake baguette, pain au chocolat and croissants at the weekends! The situation is lovely, just outside the cattle grid, which leads to lovely countryside and of course the horses and foals etc. Location good for quiet coastal beaches or if you prefer the busy ones, Bournemouth and Poole are not far away. Two excellent dog walks, fenced in and safe. I would recommend this site to any nature lovers, dog owners and families.
