great for everyone

Very welcoming staff, keeping the site very clean, lovely area for biking, walking and seeing the wonderful area of the new forest. Our party were amazed with all of the horses off site having a stand off with transport, causing no problems at all. Driving out and about took fifteen minutes to nearest towns. Eating out is very nice, staff amazingly polite. Will be returning again.

High standard site

great facilities, nice shop, lovely grounds quiet, just recognise how far it is from local pubs and shops if you're in a motorhome. Great for cycling, nice ride down to Medford and close to New Forest trails

Big Site

Stayed here recently the biggest site I have stayed at so far with the club . Staff were friendly and helpful and facilities kept spotlessly clean at all times. Site consists of different fields, if you want the most peaceful then probably Spitfire and Liberator are best. Spacious pitches, good for walking and cycling. One tip avoid Lyndhurst if you can took 30 mins to get through better off travelling in from Ringwood. Will definitely be returning.

Great site

We stayed at this site for a few nights before travelling to the Isle of White. The children loved the play area and we enjoyed the site. The facilities were clean and the wardens were friendly. Would recommend this site to other families.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

We are just leaving after two weeks on sight. We have had an amazing stay, very clean sight and very hard working wardens who go out of their way to help. They are super friendly and we were always greated with a warm welcome and a smile whether it was around the sight or in the well stocked shop. The shop sold freshly made baguettes and croissants served lovely and warm on friday, saturday and sunday mornings Along with locally made cakes and scines. The children's fun day was great too. Caravan site has lots of children but also lots to keep them busy so they are no bother. We felt relaxed through out our stay. We are so sad to be leaving but will definitely be returning. We highly recommend this sight. A huge thank you to the wardens.

Lovely clean, friendly site

This is my second stay, the first stay was out of season, this was in August.  I don't have children but it looks like they are well catered for and it was lovely to see happy children. The site was very busy, almost every pitch full but the toilet blocks were kept clean, lots of hot water, I can not fault them.  The fish and chip van visits on Wednesdays and Saturdays and although it was a long queue the chips and mushy peas were lovely.  Two dog walks to exercise the dogs but an easy walk into the New Forest from here. I have read some reviews that have moaned about dogs barking, I have 3 but they bark from time to time, usually when a bike bell rings or if other dogs walk past but we tell them no. I was not aware of excessive barking, nor was I aware of unruly children, just families having fun. The wardens were busy, bins emptied more than nice a day, busy little shop, helpful advice all with a cheerful and pleasant manner.  Looking forward to coming back to this site.

Great Site

We have been to this site on a yearly basis since it opened and it is great. Wardens always pleasant and helpful. As expected with school holidays there were plenty of children around many who appear to have lost any kind of road sense and use the site roadways as if no other traffic exists, sadly an accident waiting to happen. We will be back.

Wonderful Campsite

We recently stayed at this campsite, and can honestly say, it was fantastic! The wardens were so friendly & helpful, the pitch was perfect, we had our small dog with us, and I highly recommend this site for dog owners, it has 3 lovely walking areas on the site, and our little dog was even allowed in the shop, where he got lots of fuss, he LOVED his stay too. The shower blocks were clean, and plenty of them, never had to queue, all the other facilities were fantastic too, and the little shop sold everything you could think off. A great weekend, thank you Shelley, Adam & Ernie x

One night stopover

We chose this site last minute as it was near to Lymington. They had an electric hook up pitch on grass. We searched round & found one of 2 in a peaceful spot. It was a pitch not intended for an awning but that did not bother us as we had a motorhome. The site was well organised & quite at night. There were lots of children on bikes riding headlong towards you against the one way system, which was a bit worrying. The motorhome waste emptying point was a bit difficult to manoeuvre over & when you did you had to lift the cover off to use it. We would use this site again as it was nicely located.
