Autumn Break

A great base for walking in the New Forest and taking in all that autumn has to offer with the mass of forest colour. Plenty of space on the site, clean and very well maintained. Good kids playground if that's important, and good exercise area for dogs. We will certainly return.

Oct Half Term Week

An excellent site with everything we needed for a weeks stay with 2 children and a dog. The pitches are well spaced and pretty level and access is excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly and are a credit to the CC. The facilities are some of the best we've used anywhere, modern, clean and very well maintained. There is a park for the children and a large enclosed dog walk area / field. It was our first visit to the New Forest area and there are some fantastic places to visit from the small villages, the coastline and of course the local pubs. Thank you again!

Halloween Stay

Visiting this site for the first time over the Halloween period I was pleasantly surprised how great this site was. The site is open with very spacious pitches. The staff were fantastic especially when I required a jump start upon leaving. The local walks for dogs were brilliant with lovely local pubs and shops in nearby Burley & Bransgore. Although I have no children the atmosphere was electric for the Halloween period. I would highly recommend this site and will definitely return.

Motorhome Weekend

This was our first time out with our motorhome which we had purchased a few days previously. If this is a representation of  Caravan Club sites you should be extremely proud, it was well run, and immaculate .The staff were very helpful and polite. The toilet and shower block would be a credit to any hospital, in fact I have been a patient at hospitals that didn't come close to the hygiene levels here. Pat yourselves on the back, you deserve it.

Flagship site

Having stayed on many CC sites, can confidently say that facilities at New Forest are among the best on the network. Obviously it gains from being one of the newest when it comes to spacious shower cubicles and it's excellent playground. Wifi was a little irregular in strength but good tv reception. Really enjoyed our visit and would recommend the site to members visiting the area.

Great late Autumn break

Our first trip to the New Forest even though it's on our doorstep. Lovely clean site and showers with benches and not the plastic stools - hurrah! Good secure dog walking area and Children's play ground. It may be a bit isolated for motorhomers without other means of transport but for caravanners it was fine. Can recommend a trip to Hurst Castle - enough of interest to spend the whole day and good café with bacon butties. We'll be back.

Super site

Beautiful location - fabulous autumn colours. The site has a lovely little garden with benches to sit on while listening to birdsong and enjoying the sweet perfumes of the surrounding shrubs. The big, well-equipped, children's playground is a great facility too.

Great site

Centenary site, a great site to stay.....apart of the forest i did not know. Great walks and biking near by. Site was excellent, great wardens .....very clean thanks to there hard work. Only downside is the Wifi works when it wants to and at weekend when site was busy was just non exsistant. This seems to be a big problem with most caravan club sites i have stayed on and really does need looking into and sorting out. Roll on next year will be looking forward to a return to this great site. Thank you Wardens.

Lovely site but too isolated.

Lovely clean and well maintained site. Noisy night on our second night (weekend stay) due to what sounded like youngsters wheel spinning and racing up and down the country lane just outside the site, apart from that a very peaceful stay. Had problems with connecting to the electricity (we are novices) and the staff on site lent us a screwdriver and offered to charge our laptop for us on the first morning after a night with no electrics. We were eventually rescued by a lovely member of staff called Ian in the afternoon, who came out and checked the connection for us and all was sorted. A bit disappointed to be told that the local buses were so unreliable that it wasn't worth the effort of walking a mile to get a bus to nearby locations.

Gone Downhill

Stayed at this site for a week 3-10th Oct. Just not the same as before. we appreciate it was near closing for the season but the site was untidy the grass needed cutting, no hanging baskets etc. The facilities were clean but not spotless (which you usually find in club sites) two showers & two toilets were also closed. The wardens didn't seem particularly friendly and we never saw them walking around the site checking things or chatting to people. One point nothing to do with the Caravan Club - the fish and chip van was awful.
