Our favourite place
We absolutely love this place, so do the dogs.
It's peacefull, well maintained and the wardens are fab. The wardens had sold all the tennis balls but their lovely lab loaned hers so our dogs could play ball. We did of course replace it.
We so wish that the site was open the whole year.

We enjoyed this site immensely. Spotlessly clean facilities, friendly wardens, large pitches. Nothing not to like.
1st Timer
Well run site, very clean facilities. Quiet ,on road cycle rides ,suggested by the wardens were excellent. Will certainly return.
Our stay, summer 2015
Dear all, this years trip to the UK was our first UK - trip with a Caravan. So we were not sure what to expect. The New Forest site turned all our expectations in a positiv direction. The site, the staff, a small shop, the Location, everything helped to turn us in to repetative UK visitors. The WiFi was a bit of a struggle, but at the end, it is holdays. We will be returning here.
1st visit
1st time we have been to this site and it was excellent, the staff were very polite and helpful, the dog walk area was very good and secure as we have 2 huskies it was a pleasure to be able to let them off the lead. Read in the comments book people complaining about to many dogs, why go to a dog friendly site when you don't like dogs?. Will defiantly return again and for longer stay
2nd visit
This was our second visit to this site and the staff an facilities are still great, good pitch sizes. On this visit we noticed the A35 traffic and the aircraft noise from Bournemouth airport which made us drop one star from the rating. Site is great for walking and cycling but lack of a bus service means you have to drive if going further afield. Not a problem if you have a caravan but with a motor home it is not always so convenient. We missed being able to use our bus passes ! !
No children on the site when we visited but expect it's popular during the holidays.
WHAT A LOVELY SITE
We started off taking our mobile home to France and Spain and I have to say this is the second UK site we have stayed at and I much prefer the sites provided here.
This particular site gave us a pitch that was very well laid out with plenty of space for our motorhome, trailer and a small car. You never felt like your neighbour was too close. We went for a pitch with electric, water and waste and was very impressed with the supply of these things (overseas the water facility leaves a lot to be desired). Some pitches (half a dozen) were covered in white sheeting and after talking to the staff this was readily explained to me. When a pitch has had a lot of wear and looks a little tired over the summer, they reseed it and cover it so that it can sweat therefore it waters the seed itself and keeps it warm over a few months during the winter when the site isn't so busy, this gives it the chance to regrown and recover nicely. I'm glad I asked as I was curious.
The toilet block was very clean indeed and the showers were very hot with a good flow (as good as mine at home). All the staff (plenty there to help) were all very helpful. I asked where to eat, where to walk with the dog, and where was the best beach and every enquiry was answered with a smile and a cheerful response. There is in fact a separate room with lots of brochurs and folders so all the answers were at my finger tips but not once was I directed to 'look for myself', I was answered politely with each question, thank you all, a wonderful welcomed break. Will we return, of course we will. Lovely clean tidy place and lovely people. Thank You.
Super Site
A really nice site to visit, with excellent pitches & superb facilities which are maintained to a high standard. Friendly / helpful wardens.
Excellent location for access to various cycle paths in the Forest & to Christchurch.
