Lovely first visit, will be back

We stayed at this site for our first ever caravan experience. The site was easy to find, was peaceful and the facilities were exceptionally clean and maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Beautiful walks and lots of ponies to see. A lovely relaxing weekend.

Wonderful site

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming.  We were so Impressed with how the shop was invredibly well stocked. The facilities were immaculate. One of the best sites we have stayed on to date. Thank-you Renia and Oliver Przybysz

Clean and tidy site

Arrived here the afternoon of Storm Katie, wardens were ok and managed to get us a hardstanding pitch rather than the grass pitch we had booked as so many people had left due to the weather forecast. Good pitches, well spaced.  Toilets and showers were spotless when I visited them with showers well equipped. Shop is ok and nice to have something there.  It is a bit in the middle of nowhere but good for a day or to not a place to visit if you have children over about 5 or 6 with you as they would be bored.

Easter Weekend First Outing of Year

Picked a great weekend for first trip of year, gale force winds, heavy rain and hail posed a real challenge. Despite this we found the site met normal standard for facilities, as did the staff. On the negative front it could be said that in some areas of site perhaps too many pitches too close together. Whilst not a key factor, having purchased WiFi access for the season for both my wife and I, £25 x 2, I am of the view that the system performance was very poor, speed and access, which in turn did not reflect true value for spend. The site is ideal for coastal access.

Easter 2016 with Storm Katie....

We have just returned from this site after a great break with our friends, we have been before and like the location. Easy access with the Caravan, follow the A35 lorry route. Great direct access to the forest and walks/bike routes. We walked into Bransgore and visited The Crown, they welcomed our dogs to sit inside, we returned later in the week for a meal, the food was excellent and due to some wet weather we took a taxi back to the site! It was very windy with Strom Katie, so we had some fun with our awning as did others, no reflection on the site but it is exposed and the wind was challenging.... As per note below, the toilets were dirty, unusual for a club site, but site was completely full over the Easter weekend so assume staff were stretched.

Too far from anything and too exposed

We were looking forward to coming to this site as 3 caravans we all arrived at the nice reception efficient and polite not much in the shop though considering the nearest shop is 4 miles away  The site is very exposed to the elements very few trees so the wind is strong most of the time. We were disappointed that there is nothing unless you drive at least four miles a bar on site would make fortune as would a restaurant. Would not stay here again for this reason  Stayed during storm Katie no problem took our awnings down Sunday after met office warning and surprised that some people did not much to there loss as the site was strewn with broken awnings next day For us the site is well laid out but is in the middle of nowhere

Gale force winds, flooding and dirty loos, but great play area!

We stayed at the New Forest Centenary Site over Easter. We expected a flag ship site. It was no better than any other we've stayed in. Wardens were fantastic, Easter egg hunt a big hit with the kids, despite the hail storm. Gale force winds and torrential rain meant our pitch flooded and the awning was taken down in a hurry. Our neighbours left their up, it damaged their car and caravan in the early hours when it took off! The toilet block was hampered by someone messing. The seats and inadequate flushes meant the toilets were blocked, so only ever 2 or 3 useable. The CC need to upgrade the flushing here!! Brilliant children's play area, but I don't think we're likely to go out of our way to return here. Nice enough, but not worthy of the pricey fees!

Bank Holiday experience

Visited this site last August for a few nights. Very peaceful and it will be a great site when mature. All Facillities up to normal standard. The only downside was flooding in some areas on some of the fields.

Extra guest 'Katie'

Fabulous site for our first outing of the year with spotless and warm facilities. Really friendly and helpful wardens; loved the Easter egg hunt! Storm Katie was pretty awful and we nearly lost our awning but managed to take it down at 2am in the middle of the storm-will know better than to leave it up next time! Burley Inn was lovely for lunch. Mudeford, Christchurch as well as all the beautiful surrounding forest kept us busy...we will be back again in (hopefully) calmer weather!!
