Very family friendly

We spent half term week at the site. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly and approachable for the children going up to the shop! The site is well located to access bother the forest and the coast being around 5 mins from the beach. The site was full over the half term week but I didn't once queue for a shower as there are ample facilities that are well looked after and we used a great toddler room. The site felt very safe for the children with a lovely playing park and field. The site shop was well stocked and we enjoyed fresh croissants every morning!!! A great holiday and we will definitely be back.

Half term break

We had a great time here and found the facilities, staff and location to be exactly what we needed. Our children enjoyed the playground and the field to run around in. The staff were very useful with directions and helping with gas bottles. Our only gripe was with the large group of teenagers who played on the playground who were intimidating to smaller children and using the equipment in a way that was clearly damaging to it. I realise that one of the beautiful things about caravanning is to let your children have independence but when there are 45 children on the playground and I was the only adult I felt responsible for not only my own children.  Anyway grumble over... Great site and will be back at some point.

First time visitors

We have recently made our first visit to a club site and were very impressed with the whole experience. We were warmly received at reception by very friendly staff and quickly booked in and given all the information needed,. The sight and facilities were extremely well cared for and spotless and we couldn't find fault with anything. The pitches were excellent giving lots of room for car, caravan and awning and there is also plenty of space between pitches. Toilet and shower blocks were always clean and well maintained and there was always plenty of hot water no matter what time of day you went in there. We enjoyed the experience so much that we have booked to go back in August. A big thankyou to all the friendly staff on sight for making our stay so pleasurable.

Caravanning in the New Forest

Arrived earlier than expected but was greeted by the wardens (who were all really nice) in such a friendly and helpful manner it took all our stress away after a bad journey!! The site itself is lovely so nicely set out and very well organised, the amenities were top notch, so clean and always tidy. The reception and shop were great and went above and beyond what was expected. We would recommend this site to anyone as it has everything needed for a great holiday and is in a great position for exploring the New Forest and beyond. 100%. Happy Caravanners.

Showers

Liked the facilities particularly the space in the showers - so many Caravan club sites have very small cubicles and nowhere to put your clothes making it difficult to keep your things dry.

Midweek break

We booked this site for a Monday to Thursday getaway. On arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pitch was great and big enough for our caravan, (twin wheel) with awning. The site is very clean and tidy with exceptionally clean toilet blocks and showers. There was only the 2 of us so we rated a 4 for families as we feel that although they have a play area it maybe not enough. Will definitely go back, and would highly recommend this site. There was a very nice pub with good food at a reasonable price. The Crown.

Fantastic Weekender

Just spent 3 nights at this site and it was faultless. The wardens were all very friendly and helpful and the site facilities were always spotless. I would say that this site and the wardens that run it are the best that I have experienced. Lovely location with easy access to some lovely little towns and villages

To be recomended

As usual the standards to be expected of a Caravan Club site. Plenty of History here as well, being on the old RAF Holmsley South airfield, little remaind on site extept the overflow car park, but directly at the back is a wonderful memorial fo the New Forest Airlfields - worth a look (shame no back gate for members to use) Facilities good, excently stocked shop - with very good cake. Good Fish and Chips - only a short wait at this time of year! Bransgore Village cyclable distance, good footpaths accross the old Airfield as well. Would be nice to have a few more Hard Standing pitches available - better for Motorhomes - but thats the only negative thing I can think of. Not too many Children this early in the season, but so many Dogs!

Fantastic site. Other members very friendly, as I wanted some fresh rolls from reception, unfortunately they gad all gone but a very friendly cc member swapped his rolls for baguettes. Thank you.
