Our recent stay was the first of 2016 but we have stayed at this site many times before and it never disappoints. The facilities are excellent and, like the whole site, are kept immaculate by the team of friendly wardens. The location is great for walks in the forest, for exploring the coast and visiting various local towns and attractions. The availability of freshly baked croissants, baguettes etc on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays is a bonus!!
Regular favourite in ter time !!!
The site is large and lots of pitches with different outlooks....needless to say great facilities and good helpful staff. We are regular visitors as it's an easy 100 mile tow mainly on motorways and always use the HGV route into Lyndhurst. Best time is term time as when it's not the roads around the site are invaded by Kamikazi children on bikes !! Always enjoy our visits and will return. Mudeford beach is an easy 15 minute drive away...the main reason for our visits. We will return.....in term time !
Excellent site, great facilities, shame no local pub
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the site. We usually stay in Black Knowle near brockenhurst but this time it was fully booked. We were not disappointed with this site. Friendly staff, great facilities which are spotlessly clean and a nice quiet friendly site all round. We have 2 dogs and the location for walking with them and for going out cycling is excellent. The only thing that would be nice is a local pub (it is a 15 minute bike ride or a 45 minute walk into bransgore) we will definitely be returning.
Fantastic site
Absolutely love this site. Must have been there about 10 times now and plan to go back later this year. Well kept and the staff are so friendly. Worth going just for the fish and chip van that visits on a Wednesday and Saturday. Within easy reach of so many lovely places in the New Forest.
Here we are again
This is our fourth or fifth visit here and it as good if not better than ever.
The only reason location is marked down a point is because it is a long way to a shop or pub. To us and to many others this does not matter.
Lovely site
Despite the site being very busy it was nice & peaceful. My children made lots of friends at the playground & when we were on site didn't see them! The showers & dishwashing area were nice & clean. The site was in a good location for exploring the New Forest & visiting Christchurch, Ringwood 7 Bournemouth.
Spectacular scenery
What a fabulous site! This is our favourite site to come to for short breaks. It's in the middle of the New Forest, easy access and so clean and friendly. There is loads to do around the area too, with some pretty villages nearby. You can walk for miles or get on a bike.
We love it!
One of the Best Caravan Club Sites
What else can I say apart from Brilliant!
There is a large football pitch and a playground for the children, 2 toilet/shower blocks and the sites shop stocks lots of accessories and fresh pastry's.
If you don't want to go off site for a meal there's a great Chinese take away that delivers.
Local shops (Sainsbury's, Pets Corner, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, KFC, McDonald's etc is only 4 miles away.
Can't wait to get back & stay again in the May Bank holiday.
Only criticism is if your on EE network you struggle for 1 bar of reception and there's no radio in the shower block, just being picky.
Easter 2016
An easily accessible site, the location in perfect for exploring the New Forest or the coast. Storm Katie started our break of badly but the rest of the week was perfect. The wardens could not have been more helpful. I have never had a bad experience at a CC site
