We have never been to the New Forest before and can definitely recommend it. We originally booked for 3 nights but stayed for 4 and wish we had stayed for longer. This site itself was in a super location for both the forest and the coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were very clean and tidy. The site is also visited a couple of times a week by a Chip Van which was a welcome surprise. We will definitely be staying here again.
Brilliant site
Have been to this site on a regular basis since it opened found it well kept clean and tidy and must state the wardens do a cracking job
Only negative is not enough service pitches but as water points are well spread out its not to bad really
Drainage on pitches is good but area we set up at
Didnt have wifi and mobile signal was poor but we were on holiday and it is the new forest
Chip van quality is excellent and on site shop is well stocked
Local town of christchurch is not far and usual takeaways and sainsbury not far
Local toby inn in hinton is excellent value and you can book in advance
Going back in september live the area and the site with its 2 dog walks and large play park and football field is excellent

Excellent site
Just returned from 5 nights stay at this lovely site
The staff are extremely helpful, the shower facilities are excellent and the location convenient for exploring forest or beaches. Only minor point is to avoid pitches near the play area/football field as the noise levels were still high at 10 o'clock at night

Family friendly site
Stayed here for a week in Sept 2016. Facilities very clean, and plenty of space between pitches. Great play area and dog exercise field.
Location is good for all New Forest attractions.
Would stay again.
Excellent site
Just returned from a four night stay on the centenary site, beautiful location, superb site with so much history and wildlife around. We would recommend it as a great place to explore the New Forest area.
Staff are great, the facilities are very clean and the pitches are flat. There are 2 enclosed dog runs and lots of doggy walks near the site. The sea is just a short drive away.
All round superb!!
Lazy Days!
Just back from a long weekend at the New Forest Centenary Site. Had a lovely time at this site. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Facilities are the best, always clean and showers great and hot. Pitches well spaced out, hard standing or grass. We opted for grass at the back of the site, ended up being on our own for two days, very peaceful. Had a lovely walk around the old airfield, great if your into that sort of thing. Enjoy!
Peaceful but isolatedI
Arrived for a 4 night motorhome stay with 2 dogs. Surprised how deserted the grass pitches were, hurray! 2 pleasant fenced dog areas, a well stocked, reasonably priced shop, fish & chip van on Thursday and Saturday 5 til 7pm. Nothing in the immediate area other than the Airfields memorial 5 minutes walking distance away. Immaculate throughout. A credit to all concerned.
Club at its best
From the moment that we arrived to the time we left we were treated courteously and professionally. The reception staff explained that we could pick a pitch at our leisure and were helpful with local info. We loved the site so much that we decided to stay on an extra day. Well done and thank you to all the staff at the site, you are doing a great job.
Thank you.
Perfect site
We have recently returned from a short stay at this site, and can honestly say it's the best one we've ever been to ! We did visit it when it first opened , and could see its potential then , and now the shrubs and trees are established , you can find the perfect pitch in the many areas there are to choose from
Other than problems with the wi fi which is countrywide , everything else was well above standard . From the welcoming, helpful wardens , the well stocked shop with long opening hours, the spotless two toilet blocks that also stayed open longer in the mornings than most ,with extra toilets to use as well , to the beautiful layout in the peaceful setting with all the amenities for children and dog walkers , this site was perfect in every way , and we would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it !
Don't change anything - it's perfect !

A well laid out and very friendly site
We chose this site because of its proximity to the south coast and new forest.
We also wanted to visit Beaulieu which is nearby.
Beaulieu is a great value day out, book in advance or use your caravan club membership for discount.
As a bonus we realised the Sammy Miller motorcycle museum is very close too, thoroughly recommended!
The site is excellent, the wardens really friendly, I notice some reviewers say the dog area is muddy but it had been very dry leading up to our visit and this was no problem at all for us.
There is loads to do on the south coast, sadly some of the roads are very congested, particularly around Bournemouth, but a bit of map work avoided the worst.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our two labradoodles now know every inch of the dog areas!
Highly recommended, don't miss the twice weekly visits by the fish and chip van!
