Stayed the week after Easter with our grandsons, our 3rd visit in 2 years.
The site is kept very clean and tidy and is well looked after by the great team of wardens who always had a cheery word and smile for us and all the children. As expected the toilet blocks were spotless with plenty of hot water.
Only one thing marred a lovely week, the irresponsibility of the few dogs owners who failed to pick up after their dogs in the vicinity of their pitch, which is then left to the wardens to sort out when the pitch is vacated.
I also made an observation to the office that the road markings needed re-doing as cars were driving up no entry roads,
All in all a lovely site and we will return.
Wonderful site if you don't mind dogs
We Stayed 21/04 through to 25/04. The site is very well maintained with nice friendly staff on reception. I do not recommend purchasing the Wi-fi, I have tried it twice on previous visits and found that you can pay easily enough but thereafter the service either crashes or is intermittent.
As with all sites there are lots of dogs which can be distracting, usually they are well controlled but there will be intermittent barking throughout the day, perhaps there could be a dog free section?
Oh yes and one dog relieved itself in the roadway adjacent to us which was not good, owner must not have noticed!
Will stay again though.
Lovely location, shame others spoiled it
We stayed here from 17 to 21 April, going home a day earlier than planned and paid for.
Pros
Well situated
Very clean and well kept
Shower blocks spotless
Cons
No control over noisy caravanners
The dog areas are okay for a quick toilet break but not for a good walk and there is nowhere to walk them from site.
Wireless is very poor. Once again, paid for a days Caravan Club service only to find that I could not access it most of the time and got less than an hours use. This is not the first site this has happened to me on but it's funny how you can always access it for them to take payment! I will not use it in future.
Unfortunately our holiday was ruined by two other groups of holidaymakers who spent most of the time racing around on bikes, scooters, a motorised scooter and another three wheeled vehicle, constantly shouting and squealing. They came past us every couple of minutes at some points, setting one of our dogs barking so we closed the curtains so the dog couldn't see them but he could still hear them so we spent the whole time trying to keep the dog quiet. Sitting outside or in the awning was fruitless if we wanted a bit of peace and quiet.
The wardens response as we were leaving was "Well, they are on holiday too", which is fair enough but it got too much! On one day they brought two other carloads of friends on site and that was it for us. We packed up the following day and left. My understanding from the rules we were provided that you, or anyone visiting you, are not to annoy or inconvenience other caravanners. The children never used the childrens play area, choosing instead to race around the roads. We weren't the only ones upset by this either.
We are not anti children. In fact, there were many other children on site who rode their bikes around but without the shouting and hollering associated with these particular families and the parents joined in too so clearly had no consideration for anyone else.
We are now considering our CC membership as we will likely stick to adults only sites in future.
All in all, I was very disappointed.
Another great holiday.
Third time here great for families my daughter who's 15 still loves this site, great for walks and dogs. Friendly, clean always helpful wardens on site and to top it all off great weeks weather again highly recommend to all members some pitches can get noise from children but it's a family site so you would expect that.
Carl, Dawn and lizzy.
Really good site that is well run
Good site in lovely location, run by a friendly and enthusiastic team - we really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Easter 2017
We use this site when we wish to liaise with our daughter and family on the Isle of Wight. It is well situated for travel purposes and there is plenty to do in the area. On our most recent visit we were disappointed that the wardens were overly concerned with the aesthetics of having all vans sited facing in the same direction. We wanted to park nose in to level our motorhome and instead were made to turn and chock making it a higher than necessary step up to get inside. We visited 4 other club sites over the course of this holiday and none of these were concerned about our orientation other than the usual and necessary health and safety considerations.

Brilliant holiday in the forest
Although not as cycle friendly as black knowl, this is a great site to explore from. Having not been since 2002, it is amazing what a difference there is in the site layout, trees and shrubbery now established. Wardens are some of the best around - cannot do enough and make this a great site. Thx
Easter in the New Forest
Being Easter we expected the site to be very busy and noisy, we were very pleasantly surprised as although full, there was very little noise, the children's facilities were large and meant that there was plenty of space to keep them occupied. The wardens were excellent, some of the best I have encountered in all my stays at various club sites, a very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, a very relaxing stay.
Great say in the new forest
This is a great site if the want to visit the new forest, the facilities are of a very good standard. Lots of places to walk and a great park for the kids. We would give this site 10/10. We have booked for latter in the year.

A great site
We stayed here over the easter weekend and the wardens were very helpful and friendly and would highly recommend. Even though the site was full we found it a great site with a young family. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The only downside we found was the Wifi was really poor and wouldn't keep it's connection which is a pain for us as we had no mobile signal either!
The location of the site is great - we particularly loved going to Mudeford Quay to go crabbing!
