New England Bay wonderful family holiday.

My self my wife and 4 children 10, 7, 4, 3 all had a wonderful holiday great costal walks, wonderful site, lovely wardens, beautiful views. Port Patrick defenetly worth a visit wee fish chip van on the harbour was wonderful. Just for your convenience stop at lidle supermarket for supplies at Stranraer before you head down to New England bay save your self around 15 mile return journey for food etc. Great site so relaxing will definitely be back :-)

Great Site

Despite the awful weather we had a great time at New England Bay. We only stayed two nights as it was wet, very windy and had low cloud reducing visibility. The facilities on this site are excellent and we bought table tennis bats, and balls, from the site shop and also used the pool table. It was a good laugh as we were rubbish at both but really enjoyed it. The staff were very cheerful and helpful as they are on most sites. The whole site is well maintained. We paid a visit to Port Logan where there is a lovely little harbour with an interesting lighthouse that was actually a bell tower. The Port Logan Marine Life Centre was excellent and John the volunteer guide made it really interesting. It is well worth a visit. We will be coming back another time to explore the Mull of Galloway, when visibility is above 20 yards and also Logan Gardens.

Pretty much perfect.......

One of our top three sites and we come back each year end. This year rewarded by near perfect weather ( but still a brisk breeze - from the north!) and huge clear skies day and night- no light pollution so star gazing was a real treat this year.  Last few days of the season so pitch up anywhere to get the best views and wi-fi !  This time of year it's wild camping with facilities and no neighbours - perfect!

Lovely Site in a Wild Setting

Stayed for 3 nights from 21/10/16 in our motorhome - great cycling available as area is scenic but not too hilly. We were lucky to have good weather, but imagine it'd be bleak when not so clement. Wardens 1st class!

It's all good!

We always enjoy our stays at New England Bay. This time the weather was a little unkind with strong cold winds but the sun shone and the rabbits were still playing! This is the latest we have been and would really have appreciated a little warmth in the shower block.
