Bank Holiday break

Just had three nights at this very pretty and well kept site. Enclosed dog walk. Some road noise but did not detract from visit. Toilet block could do with updating but very clean. Friendly wardens. Great position ideal for visiting Winchester. Would recommend walk to Viaduct. Some people complained of poor television reception however we had no issues with modern equipment. We will visit again.

A Peaceful Bank Holiday

A lovely site, we stayed in the bottom part of the site which is terraced providing different levels so gives the feeling of space. There are plenty of trees which provide some shade and enhance the site. A bus stop is nearby for trips into Winchester, which has plenty to see and do. The facilities could do with updating. There are not enough showers when the site is full, although they are kept immaculate by the wardens. We were worried about noise from the nearby road, our fears were unfounded, we enjoyed a very peaceful time despite it being a busy bank holiday. We will be back to explore the area further.

Morn Hill 1 night stay

Stayed for only one night, but enjoyed the visit. Handy for bus into Winchester. Next day visited National Trust property Hinton Ampner and the Watercress Line at Ropley. Lovely clean site and plenty of room.

Short stay

We only stayed one night as we were going to the Isle of Wight. The site was very good, clean tidy, and the two wardens extremely helpful and friendly.

Mayday

We had a lovely long weekend at Morn Hill, A clean and welcoming site with good facilities. We got there Friday afternoon to a friendly reception and able to have a good look around to pick our pitch. It's our first trip out of the year and will be back to Morn Hill again.

Excellent stop over for Isle of Wight

What a perfect little site, we visited and stayed at this site during June 2015 and are already booked in for July 2016. We visit the Isle of Wight and due to our early boat trip, used this site for a night stop over... and have to say it was perfect. Yes it is close to a busy road, but you don't hear any of the passing traffic at all... A quick note Friday night is Chippy Van night, and from the queue of caravans waiting for the van to arrive is a regular and know occurrence and something I am looking forward to for this years visit. The facilities are amazingly clean and the wardens were welcoming and helpful. The highlight of the visit for my hubby was the baby bunnies which made an appearance and happily ate their way through the grass and daisy's on the site.

Excellent visit

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Very hardworking and have obviously put in many hours of work to bring the site to its current standard. Warden was on his knees painting the yellow boxes at the barrier when we arrived so really working hard to make it look nice. Look forward to our next visit there.

A convenient and great stopover for Cornwall

A clean and welcoming site. Good facilities, flexible timing, depending on time of year of course, helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Close to bus services into Winchester and easy access to motorway and A roads.

Lovely Site, good location.

We used this site as it was nearby to one of the caravan club manoeuvring courses.  It is very similar to any of the club sites.  A green and pleasant land. It is divided into two areas, we stayed on the upper site which I think is more prone to road noise, however it was April and with closed windows and the heating on - we did not hear any noise.  I have to say the rooks in the rookery were noisier in the evenings as I walked to the showers! The Wardens, as ever, were nothing but pleasant and helpful and we took their advice as to where to pitch as some sites were recovering. The site is ideal for a day in Winchester, but having driven through it with the car - avoid at all costs with a caravan, very confusing one way system! As people have commented the toilet block needs perhaps updating.  I hasten to say it is all immaculate and loads of hot water.  But in the upper field there are only two female showers.  I tend to shower in the evenings and never had to wait, indeed had the block to myself.  However my husband said in the mornings there was a que for the gents showers.  However that is my only nit pick and will stay again as our daughter lives nearby too. Recommend the site.
