A few days with friends
It is a very busy site with many european visitors using it overnight and often arrive from early morning until late evening. The staff work exceptionally hard to ensure the site is maintained in pristine condition although they are challenged by the elderly facilities. We appreciate the club may have a problem with leasing the site etc but members deserve similar standards ie number of facilities at all sites and this one is below that standard. The wardens and deputies are excellent, their manner with each visitor is welcoming, informative and caring, you really feel valued and it added to our really enjoyable stay. We will certainly visit again as the area has many aspects to enjoy as has been recorded elsewhere. You need to be cautious when leaving the site as the when accessing the island on the Alresford Road, traffic is fast and the access from Winchester creates a blind element for drivers. It is safe but you need to be cautious.
Well done the staff for working so hard to ensure we get a first rate welcome and stay on this lovely site.
