We have been coming to morn hill for the last 4 yrs
We were told that the shower blocks were going to be upgraded 3 year ago very disappointed as nothing has changedÂ
Not up to the standed for a caravan club site
Excellent site
We have recently stayed on this site for a week having stayed here a few years ago. We thought the staff this year are brilliant. It was the most helpful and friendly reception we have been given in all our years as members. Ok the shower blocks may be dated, but they were always spotless with very hot water and privacy cubicles. It is very quick and easy to get into Winchester by bus saving the hassle of parking. There is so much to do in the area that I'm sure we'll be back again.

Over night stop.
Used this site for an over night stay before catching a ferry. Ideally situated for our purpose. We were near the main road and there was some traffic noise, but the handbook warns you of this so we were prepared. Site was nice and clean, but the toilet block was looking a bit dated. The entrance / exit from the main road was not one of the best we have had to encounter at a club site. We would use it again if the need arises.
Blink and you may miss it !
The site was to typical CC standards but as I was there just for the one night I did not try the facilities. A little road noise.
I did however miss the turn-off from the round-about, I do think/suggest that they should highlight the turn off better as you have to cut across one of the approach roads to the roundabout. Bit risky and something new for me !!!. Other then that...I would return.
Excellent location
Regular bus service into Winchester means you don't have to use your own vehicle. We found the on site staff welcoming, upbeat and very helpful. We heard a lot of grumbling about the size of the showers but we thought they were fine. The site was lovely and quiet at night, just how we like it. Great idea having 'pizza Friday'. We hope to be back.
Good site. Needs updating.
My wife and I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend.
Although many reviews talked of the road noise, we didn't have any issues..
It is a well kept site and the wardens are very helpful.
The only downside is the toilet and shower facilities. Come on Caravan Club. This needs addressing.
Great location for visiting Hampshire or an overnight stay beffore/after a ferry crossing.
Would definitely recommend.
An ok site
We stayed on the top part of the site. It was nice and spacious, but the shower cubicles are quite small - the shower itself is good though. I would have liked to have been able to get a WiFi connection, as I have paid the Caravan Club for a year's WiFi.
It was good to find the bus stop close to the site and be able to go into Winchester by bus.

Peaceful stay
Having read the previous reviews we were apprehensive about road noise, however it wasn't an issue at all! The site was clean and well kept, the facilities were spotless! With being 20 minutes away we will definitely use again for that short break out the house!! Thanks and see you again soon
Great week
My wife and I spent a week on the site mainly so that we could have three of our grandchildren stay with us who live fairly locally. We had a great time and the weather was very kind. The science centre (in-tech) within easy walking distance is a great day out. As stated many times the facilities on site should be updated but until Winchester City Council get their act together that is unlikely to happen. Having said that is it too much to ask for a small playground for children to be built somewhere I think not. As ever the Wardens were helpful and very friendly even opening up for me to buy some gas late in the evening - thank you so much. A fantastic position for visiting Winchester, Salisbury, The New Forest and the south coast. We had a lovely time. Bye.
Time for an upgrade?
It's a great position, but sadly a long way behind most Club sites of today in terms of the facilities. Clean they certainly are, and the Wardens work tirelessly on trying their best, but the toilet blocks are worn out, very cramped and nowhere near modern standards (top site pitches) The site must be a nightmare to run with the site split into 2 distinct halves with no physical access directly between the two. The lack of any hard standings must limit use in wet conditions, although not a problem when we were there, but surely with it's great position there must be huge potential for year round operation with better facilities and some hard-standings.
