We have visited this site many times and if it’s possible it is even better this year. The wardens are exceptional - charming and efficient. The new loo block cleaning times - moved to the afternoons - seems to work well. The site was quiet as we missed the busy Easter period so the wardens were busy making even more improvements. Back again in May we hope and booked for busy July. Brilliant.
Fabulous area to visit
Merrose farm site is in the beautiful Roseland peninsula. There are lots of lovely coastal villages to visit and many beaches. Parking can be limited so best to plan ahead. At Mawes is within easy distant where you can get the regular ferry to Falmouth. There are several National Trust gardens not too far away. The seal sanctuary is also worth a visit. The site is well placed for walks along the coastal path. Staff at the site are very friendly and helpful. All facilities are well maintained. The children play are is one of the best we have seen on a club site. We have had a truly wonderful holiday here.
Return visit - fantastic site
We returned to Merrose farm after being so impressed during our first visit last year.
The site is in a stunning location and is immaculately kept with spotless facilities.
Very welcoming and friendly, helpful wardens.
The shop is very well stocked with essentials and lots of delicious local goodies.
Also fantastic wood fired pizza or fish and chips van visit on various days.
Large, secure dog field as well as a kids play area and football field.
Booked a return visit for later in the year, highly recommend.

Wonderful site
The site was perfect for our family holiday. It is close to some gorgeous beaches and there is so much to do. The site is very well kept, wardens are very friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. The children’s play area is one of the best I have seen on a site with a beautiful view over the hills. I would highly recommend this site. It was just lovely.
Merrose Farm early April
Helpful and welcoming staff at a great well cared for club site. The warm showers and warm toilet block were most welcome for our early April visit. The site is a great location for walking along the coastline path both north and south from the site. Great food and well cared for beer at the 'Feathers' pub in Porthscatho is a recommendation, booking is essential. Just great.
Thank you
Thank you and au revoir Keith, Tracey, Paul and Carol. Missing you already! Have a great winter, you deserve the rest!
Merrose farm site
We have just spent a lovely summer on a sessional pitch at merrose farm. We found the wardens and assistant wardens very helpful nothing was to much trouble. The site itself was always kept to a high standard . We will be going back as we enjoyed it so much.

Excellent break. Great site and staff
Stayed at this site from th 11th to the 19th of October. Friendly welcome. Pitches are large and on our level. The site is very well maintained. The wardens are happy to chat. The weather was fantastic each day bar the last day. Our golden retriever loved it. He met other grs decended from his father. The secure large dog field was much appreciated and the walks from site to the coastal path and beach were good.
Our only concern at 75 years with a 9 year old dog was would we have time to beat the traffic light system on foot up hill. We did. Planning to return in 2022

Beautiful Site & Great Staff
We’ve been visiting Merrose Farm for over a decade now, and this year we were fortunate enough to have had a seasonal pitch. The area is stunning; perfect for as active or relaxing a holiday as you could wish for. The site itself is fantastic; it’s immaculately presented, beautifully landscaped and the facilities are always spotlessly clean.
Of course, this is entirely due to the tireless efforts of the small team of hugely dedicated staff who all work very long hours to ensure this site is everything you could wish it to be. They do this whilst always being friendly, warm and welcoming; nothing is too much trouble and it’s clear that their first priority is to ensure all guests have a fantastic holiday. The Site Managers in particular are exceptional. They have coped admirably with a huge increase in volume this year in addition to managing covid restrictions. They have done this with sensitivity, resilience, and a great sense of humour and should be commended for their efforts.
In summary, Merrose Farm is a beautiful site, in a stunning location, which is managed by great people. For us, it’s the perfect escape.

Beautifully Located Site
The site is set in a beautiful location with plenty of interesting coastal and inland walks directly accessible
Short journeys bring you to excellent beaches , interesting villages and the County's capital Truro
Our visit was in July when the site was very busy. The only available pitches when we arrived were located in an 'overspill ' field which was very exposed to the elements and pretty basic. This was a disappointment particularly as we had booked many months before
