This place will be hard to beat!

Just returned from a last minute trip to Ludlow. Was supposed to be going to Devon but massive delays on the M5 caused a last minute re-think (thank you Caravan Club for helping sort this out!) So arrived with zero expectations and am now a HUGE fan of this affiliate site and can not wait to try the rest in their chain. Why so happy? 1) Incredibly nice staff (grumpy CC staff take note...you are in a service industry...some of you could learn a lot from them.) The reception is a big shop too, including loads of stuff you might need for your caravan/motorhome. Fantastic. There is only one toilet block but it is large and immaculate and not a problem at all. The pitches are huge and my view was beautiful across fields, watching bunny rabbits hop around. As ever you could hear a pin drop on site, incredibly quiet with everyone keeping themselves to themselves. Plugged the telly in and got 135 channels, yippee! Ludlow is incredible. I had no idea it was so pretty. I also had no idea it was a big foodie destination (actually didn't find out until I left!) Check out Trip Advisor when you are there and it will give you reviews of all the local restaurants. Can't believe I didn't try The Fish House! I got into Ludlow by taking the bus at 10.07 from the top of the site and came back on the 12.50 which again, goes straight to the site. I couldn't walk as my dog is scared of cars and the route into town from the site is along a fast road (lots of tractors and motorbikes) which would have terrifiefd her. To sum up, this site is fantastic. It is close to a town, has a transport link and is immaculately clean. What more could you want? Highly recommended.

Short break in Summer Sun

Lovely site not far from the fantastic village of Ludlow, the site was very well presented and looked after by the unobtrusive staff and Wardens. Nice level pitches, but take extra strong pegs for your awning on the hard standings. The toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy.

5 Star luxury

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of July. A beautiful site that fully deserves its 5 star, luxury rating. If you want to settle down on a site, relax and enjoy your surroundings this is the place for you. I don't think we have stayed on a better site. A walk of about 2 miles on a footpath alongside a fairly busy road will take you to Ludlow and the nearest pub. Frankly we prefer a pub a little nearer. There are some nice walks from the town. Ludlow Parkrun is about 4 miles away by car and is a challenging route.

Recent visit to Ludlow Caravan Park

Just returned from another weekend at Ludlow Caravan park, as always with Morris Leisure sites, very clean & well laid out. Staff as always very helpful, toilets & showers very clean as always, like coming to this site for a nice short break.

Lovely Site

Spent two weeks in May on this site, nice and quiet. The site is quite new and therefore the shrubs and trees have still a way to grow but at least there was no tree sap falling on the car and caravan. There is a bus stop outside the site and Ludlow is 2 miles down the road. A good footpath lets you walk into Ludlow. There has been mention about the bridge, this is now open to traffic and pedestrians. The dog walk is a nice size and great that the dogs can be off the lead in it. The fish and chip van calls on a Friday and very tasty they were too. The Wi-Fi was £15 per week and there was no discounting for longer usage.

Good Site

Well kept site. Facilities good quality and very clean, only complaint would be, doubt they are adequate in number, even in off season April, some mornings, there was a queue!

Ludlow is a pleasant town and is an easy walk from the site, or, an easy cycle ride.

We are Motorhomers, so, public transport is perhaps more relevant to us than the average caravanner. Well, there is a bus service, but, finding the information about it is a challenge!

Great, no signs !!!

Just wonderful to visit the washrooms and not be bombarded by pointless signs so often found on sites! In neither ladies or gents there is not one sign - hooooraaaay !!! The site is big, spacious, very new feel and quite clinical -  Premier Inn meets Campsite?? Everything is top quality and efficient. Walk into Ludlow (Lovely town) is a good 30 mins plus and as previous reviewer the bridge from this side is only open to pedestrians and a guess will be so for a couple of months. Enjoy !!

Great New Site

We spent 10 nights on this site over Easter. Well laid out, modern with big, clean hard standing pitches. Adult area much appreciated. Great loo block, good shop for caravan accessories, friendly staff - what more could you want?
