As we've come to expect with caravan club sites, this site is spotless, the facilities superb, the wardens, are welcoming, warm and friendly, its all you can wish for. What makes this site so special is that on top of that, you can walk into Longleat house with all that has to offer and for the cyclists amongst us, I found some nice lanes, which although a bit hilly and mucky, the traffic levels are low which leads to an enjoyable ride. For info if you do take the car into Longleat and do the Safari, the Rhesus Monkeys do have a penchant for the round plugs on the reversing sensors.... And the Mercedes in front of us had none left by the time they left the monkey enclosure...... Still well worth doing the safari though.... jsut for the entertainment value. We had read that you can here lions at night. We heard the sea lions making a racket and the odd roar of a lion...... Magical
