Honeymoon

We stayed here for 2 nights while touring the West Coast of Scotland on Honeymoon. The site is lovely and peaceful. The facilities are spot on and there is plenty of info on good walks and things to do round about. We visited Kinlochewe Hotel for dinner and drinks - definitely worth a visit. When we first arrived we had a technical issue with our camper however the staff were amazing! They couldn't have been more helpful and really went out their way to help us get back on the road.  I can't recommend this site enough. Definitely worth a visit. Even with the weather being as bad as it was it didn't damper our spirits and the walks were still phenomenal. We will be returning to Kinlochewe without a doubt in the future.

Stay at Kinlochewe July 2016

Site is in a lovely setting overlooking Ben Eighe Mountain and close to Loch Maree. Very good facilities and friendly staff. Beautiful walking and cycling country, and the sun even shone for us! Short walk to Kinlochewe Hotel where there is a good bar & restaurant.

A great area for outdoor pursuits

The pitches are well spaced and the dog walking area is great. The site is well maintained. The toilets are clean and the wardens welcoming. This is a superb area for walking hiking or just touring around.

Great site

We really enjoyed our stay here despite the wet weather! There is a good dog walk on site, plenty of well spaced hard standing pitches, very pleasant wardens and more dog walking routes in the nature reserve immediately behind the site than you can get bored of. There is a surprising amount to do and see around the area if you are happy to do a bit of light hill walking and drive around a bit as there is not much locally! We were very impressed and definitely plan to return (with plenty of midge repellant!)

Excellent & peaceful site

We stayed three nights with our motorhome at this site which is well situated for long walks into the hills. The toilet/shower was spotlessly clean and well maintained by Laura, Norrie & Beth whom we extremely helpful in answering any questions we had.TV is via hook up and only 5 channels were available of which 2 where BBC1 very strange and also local news not available. On BBC1 we had London and on ITV we had Midlands news which was not helpful for finding our what tomorrows weather had in store for us. We will be back next year

Lovely site in a beautiful location.

We stayed at this site for two nights and had a wonderful stay. It is right next to a nature reserve where you can walk for miles in stunning scenery. The wardens were very helpful at all times. We will be back.

Lovely site

Quiet site, not midge free, buy Smidge, it works. Lovely electronic showers, fantastic wardens, and a very, very good café round the corner, Whistle Stop. Post office only open between 9-11am, and garage next door for papers, and fuel. This was our last site after Applecross, NC500, and it was worth getting there. 2 nights stay.

Brilliant except for the midges!

Stayed one night 1st June on our round Scottish coast tour. All hardstanding pitches but well laid out with grass strips between vans and well landscaped. Usual good quality clean site, modern electronic showers, lovely and hot. Small on site dog walk but almost next door there is a longer walking trail that is perfect to see the scenery as well as walk dog. Perfect location for hill walkers. Pity about the midges 1st thing in the morning but that's Scotland for you, be prepared
