Incleboro

Another good stay at this pleasant site, we love the area and there is plenty to do with good bus and train transport locally. Friendly and helpful wardens. Would like to see a numbered site plan as it can be confusing trying to work out where pitches are, unusual for the club not to have a numbered plan. We ended up virtually where we stayed before, the site was busy and it's quite hard to spot vacant pitches in some areas. The motorhome service point requires a drive round so not the easiest. The short walk up onto the top of Incleboro Hill from the site is rewarded with lovely views out to sea and along the coast, there is a good path from the top of the site via the woods. It's a an easy walk down to the beach which has a café and facilities and is life guarded in season. There is a dog free area at the entrance but most of the beach allows dog walking. look out for fossils, it's an interesting beach. The Village Inn has plenty of space outside and in, typical pub food, easy to reach too, just by the road to the beach.

Short June break

Whilst we thought we hade booked a serviced pitch it seems that we had not. This was not a problem as the weather was dry and we found a nice quiet grass pitch away from the main entrance. I think that overall we enjoyed our stay evenmore than our normal serviced one! As usual a very well tended site with all facilities immaculate. Friendly and helpful wardens, as usual! One of our favourite sites.

Old time regulars

We have been going to Incleboro site for over 20 years, it has aleays been one of our favourite sites. These past 2 years it has excelled itself thanks to the amazing efforts by the wardens all of whom are extremely helpfull and friendly. We especially like the beach huts and all the little touches around the site. Well done to all the wardens. We also have a special liking for the rabbit but that is another story. The amazing wardens at Incleboro Fields

I have just arrived home after touring the coast of Britain in my campervan. I stayed on many ot the club sites around the coast on my journey. I would like to say a big thank you to all the wardens who I met and who are doing a wonderful job, particularly as almost all the sites I visited were running at full capacity during May. I wanted to give a special word of thanks to Perry, Marie and the team at Incleboro Fields because without their kindness and generosity I faced having to abandon my trip and return home. Unfortunately, I lost my phone and credit cards in Cromer during the May bank holiday. I turned up at the site without a booking and in a quandary as to how I was going to handle the dire situation I found myself in. Perry and Marie gave me every practical support possible to sort the problem out and to help me get on my way the very next day. I was comforted by the warmth of humanity from such lovely people. Their friendly and helpful assistance was amazing and I will always remember the way they were prepared to go 'above and beyond' to help me in my hour of need. Thank you. Phil Cooke

Simply fantastic

Reading the reviews on this site convinced us to book here for the half term holiday. First impressions when arriving at the site were great. There is a large parking area for car and caravan next to reception. The lady on reception was very friendly and gave us all the info we needed. The site facilities are great, and are to the usual high standards of this club. The site is also very quiet at night too. From the higher parts of the site you can get a sea view which is nice. The seaside towns of Sherringham and Cromer are close by. Will we return, yes definitely.

Review of incleboro fields

We have just returned from our first 6 day break at Incleboro Fields. Generally the site and location are perfect for Motorhome owners like ourselves. You can walk into Sheringham direct from the site, there are pubs in the village and on the edge of the golf course which runs through the site. It is about 15 mins walk to the beach where there are lovely walks both on the beach and off. The site wardens are lovely and extremely helpful. There is only one slight draw back to this site in that the pitches vary considerably in size and lay out. Some areas are very hap hazard and the pitches seem to be all over the place, particularly where we were, right at the end of the site that backs onto the golf course. In this area if all the pitches had been taken you would be on top of one another and I would have serious concerns that this could breach safety regulations. The Caravan and Motorhome a Club should consider reducing the number of pitches they have on this site and change the layout to ensure adequate spacing between outfits. Also as with this and any other site we have found that some caravan owners can be inconsiderate to Motorhome owners in that they sometimes spill over with their caravans, awnings, car etc. onto Motorhome owners pitches, particularly when the Motorhome is the only vehicle on the pitch.

Great first choice!

As absolute beginners we chose too well and have been spoiled with this wonderful site. Our expectations have been set so high that this site will be very, very hard to beat. From the warm friendly welcome on arrival to the cheery good bye, the time spent at Incleboro Fields is simply great. There is a wonderful atmosphere and the grounds are well kept with beautiful flower borders and cheery displays across the site. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful, offering useful advice on local information, to helping 'idiot newbies' (that's us!) sort their kit out. The site and its facilities is immaculately clean and it is a joy to wake up to the bird song and see the wildlife roaming freely during the day. The village has a lovely pub, nice tea rooms, a few shops and a wonderful camping & caravanning shop that is also nice to newbies! We absolutely loved it, didn't want to come home and can't wait to come back.

Simply the best!

We’ve been to many CMC sites but In Incleboro is definitely the best. Plenty of pitches in several different areas of the Site. Shower and toilet facilities are spotless and warm! Staff were excellent in every way. Within 5mins walk is a hotel with excellent restaurant, a pub that has lovely food and the little cafe, Clementines, is fantastic for breakfast and lunch. There is also a well stocked camping shop. Sheringham can be reached on foot in 30 mins via a a coastal path, worth a visit especially the cafe on the sea wall near the life boat museum. Cromar is 45mins walk but most of it is on a pavement. The only negative during our stay was, once again, irresponsible dog owners who put responsible dog owners in a bad light. Please remember, grassed areas are not for dogs to use as a toilet. Dog walking areas are provided for that so please keep your dogs on a path until you can access the dog walking areas. A message for all CMC Wardens, when customers check in, ask if they have a dog and if they do, give the customer a copy of the leaflet.

Birthday Delight......

Our second visit to this fantastic site, close enough to walk to the beach and pub! Check out the Dormy House Hotel, great veranda with a windscreen overlooking the sea.... If you like to cycle take your bike and try the routes shown here, but dont be fooled and think that Norfolk is flat!! http://www.norfolkcoastaonb.org.uk/partnership/norfolk-coast-cycleway/388
