Lovely site

Stayed a couple of nights on way down to Cornwall we arrived early but this was not a problem for the staff who were very helpful. It is a lovely and clean site and our children played happily around the site. The pitches are large. Would stay again

Sunny Break

Lovely site - we were only here for 3 nights but will be coming back later this year. Loved the access to a beach although a fifteen minute walk but did note there is a car park.

Hairy do!

Great little site and a good location. We had a lovely couple of days there and found the staff and the site to be very good. We found things a little noisy from the static site behind our pitch but it went quiet in good time. The site is level and easy to pitch up. The access road can be fun if you meet a wagon or tractor coming the other way! Our main complaint is that there was a lot of hair in the plug hole in the ladies wash cubicles. Not just in one but several - we believe this may be due to the strange practice of having a hairdryer in each wash cubicle. A good idea perhaps but in practice it encourages people to do their hair in there and then it ends up in the sink and plug hole. We will visit again and I would just add that the wardens herb garden is wonderful and offering them to the members is an inspiration.

Hurn Site overnight stay

The drive from M5 motorway to Hurn Caravan Site takes you through a built up area. The turn off from the main road is on a corner bend which if not careful can Easily be missed in heavy traffic. The lead up to the site is along a road with narrow passing places. Be aware of the deep side verges in places that can take your caravan off road. On arrival you are greated by friendly wardens. The small shop in reception was stocked with a good selection of items. The Park is flat and well maintained with not a bit of litter in sight. The toilet / shower block was kept really clean. This is one site I would definitely revisit.

windy town

Stayed for week, really enjoyed the site , shower block could do with some modernisation, Wardens were really friendly and most helpful. Always slightly windy even on sunny days. Good size pitches, would revisit no problem.

Well kept site

We stayed just one night in August 2016. Pitches were large but not reserved even though we had booked in advance, we had to drive around and choose a pitch which was fine as the site was very quiet. Facilities were good, loads of hot water in showers. Dogs were welcome. 15 minute walk to a huge beach, Berrow Beach, very nice but we had such a windy day we could not stay on it for long. Staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Well kept site with good facilities

We stayed 5 nights at the end of July and really enjoyed it! We prefer a grass pitch and there were many to choose from. All the facilities were spot-on and staff are very friendly and helpful. Although the dog walk was tiny, the dunes and a huge dog-friendly beach is only 10 minute walk away so it doesn't really matter. Shame there isn't a nice pub within walking distance and apart from one, the pubs near the Brean holiday sites are not dog friendly so we ended up getting a taxi to Burnham-on-Sea which was definitely worth it! Overall we had a really good holiday and would definitely return!

Lovely site, Lovely staff

This was a lovely site. The pitches were generous. Toilets, showers etc. spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly. We stayed for 6 nights and will definitely be visiting again.

Great Site but "unlucky" break.

Within an hour of arriving on site I had a fall which resulted in one of the wardens attending and calling 999 for ambulance. After 5 hour wait diagnosed with broken bones in my right shoulder and sent  off with strong pain killers. During this time both my wife and myself were treated with the utmost respect and offered to drive my wife to the hospital whilst I went in the ambulance. Added to this the site was great, we had our 5 year old granddaughter with us and she quickly made friends and used the play area. The shower facilities were good and although the dog walk was a little small it served its purpose pre taking the dog to the beach.  This was also a very friendly site with the other campers also offering to help us if needed. The wardens atttitude obviously rubs off on the campers who use the site.
