Relaxing couple of days.

Directions from M5 are good and easy to find site. Arrived slightly early due to quieter traffic conditions but wardens were very accomodating and we went straight ro a pitch. Site is very well kept and toilet block was spotless. Our pitch was at the rear of the site and a sunny spot although a little noise from the Statics behind the dividing hedge. Did not venture far as we had nice weather and sat by the van to relax. Burnham is not an upmarket resort and has obviously seen better days. Brean is more family friendly with a leisure park and its version of a "golden mile". Wifi was terrible on pitch 19 although this was a green zone on the site map. Did not manage to get logged in on one particular day. Now at Puuts Corner and although another "bronze" rated site, the difference is immense. Overall we had an enjoyable couple of nights as a stopover on the way to devon.

1st Club Experience

As the title suggests this was our first visit to a club site in our newly acquired motorhome. We were extremely impressed by the welcome, very friendly staff, helpful and informative. Having chosen our pitch we ventured out to the nearby beach for a bracing walk, very accessible from the site. We came back via the local cafe/bar and had a very pleasant glass of wine. All facilities on the site were immaculate, clean, tidy and well maintained. This site has set the standard for all our future stays, we look forward to experiencing the other sites during our travels.

Ideal break

This was our first outing of the season and it couldn't have been better. The weather was kind for April and we made the most of our location by walking to the beach over the sand dunes. The local facilities were first class and we intend to come back with our baby grandson when he is old enough th enjoy them. We also visited a couple of National Trust Properties near by. The site itself was clean and tidy and very quiet and the wardens were very pleasant. Definitely a site to return too ad it wasn't too far to travel for a short break

Lovely site lovely wardens

We have been to this site many times and it is always clean tidy and welcoming. As always a site is only as good as its wardens and the wardens here were excellent. Its a good central site for many resorts and national trust properties. Will return again.

lovely site.

we love this site and have been many times. Nice to see a new toilet block being built. a bigger dog walk would be nice but at least they have one. dog owners should be more careful to pick up doggy doodies and then there wouldn't be any need for notices up in toilets about people walking in it! The site wasn't in the best condition from when we've been before, grassed areas not mowed, green algae looking stuff near a few pitches opposite ours that I didn't want our dog to walk in - a good scrub would have been good, but considering the work that is going on we overlooked that.

Easter2017

Stayed here over Easter a lovely friendly welcome as usual. Was a bit disappointed that the grass pitches was closed due to upgrades but we found a nice pitch with grass behind us , toilets clean and nice warm showers , wardens always keeping place tidy and emptying rubbish . If I was really hard on the place the dog area is small but there is plenty of places to walk them and the internet was not great at all. Will return again it's our second time and really like the place. Thanks for a nice break

Enjoyable Easter Break

My husband made us leave home ridiculously early to avoid the bank holiday traffic (he was right!) so we arrived near the site about 9 am. We stopped in a layby for a cup of tea and prepared for a long wait ... I telephoned the site to ask if would be convenient for us to arrive early on such a busy weekend. The warden was very friendly - asked me to hold for a second while he checked if there were spaces available and then confirmed that it was okay for us to come to site and we received a very warm welcome. For the rest of our stay, the wardens were unobtrusive but happy to help if we had any questions. There a little shop with all the essentials, newspapers could be ordered in and the information hut was excellent (and up to date!). The construction work had stopped for the weekend so there was no disruption from them, there was however unnecessary noise from several barking dogs whose owners seemed to delight in making their little darlings bark more! The site was obviously full for whole weekend but we didn't feel crammed in and the children around the site were well-behaved and very polite.

Transit Stopover.

We spent 4 nights on our way from North Wales to south coast of Dorset. The site is up to the usual CMC standard of cleanliness and the wardens were friendly and helpful. The 'dog walk' is an extremely small patch of grass and is a bit of a misnomer, however about 20 minutes through the dunes leads to an excellent dog friendly beach with ample room for our four legged friends to run around. For those with the inclination there is a large fun fair also about 20 minutes walk. Close to the site entrance are the bus stops to Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare although buses are not particularly punctual to the time table. Construction work not at all invasive.
