First Club Site

Youngish couple both 36 and this was our first trip in a caravan. Very helpful steward, the only thing he couldn't do was clear the traffic on the M5 but grateful for his help during our stay. All caravans had a lot of space and the site was spotless. I noticed a few negative reviews regarding the toilet/washing facilities needing to be upgraded and to those people I can't disagree more, we found them to be very clean and modern. Plenty of places on site to fill up water and dispose of dirty water etc. There is a small area for dogs which could be bigger but the beach is a 10 minute walk which is far more fun for them. If you like beaches it is that big you are able to drive on for £5 and take on all your extras to make it a more fun day. We will definitely be staying again.

great site

lovely well kept site great walks to near by burnham on sea maybe we wont pitch near park next time as there is quite alot of noise coming from the static caravan site behind the hedges. have been here a few times now and the grass is gradually being taken out to make way for hardstanding which is a shame but if that is what is required then thats what will have to be done i also echo PLAY AREA REVIEW there isnt enough for the smaller children to play on in the park my 5 year old couldnt really go on anything without me lifting her onto it,such as maybe some steps for the slide and not rope net we will be bcak though

Play Area

Been here many times before and again we had a brilliant time here. VERY clean and tidy and wardens VERY friendly as usual. My only gripe was that this time we took our 2 year old grandson (never taken grand kids with us before) and was very disappointed with the play area. 1 large climbing frame and a basket swing for the big kids but only 1 tiny rocker for the toddlers. Think it really needs upgrading so it suits all kids of all ages. Otherwise it's a brilliant site.

Catching up with friends

We recently stayed at this site for 3 days to meet up with friends who live nearby. We were fortunate in arriving as they opened the upgraded facilities which are fantastic. We had one of the new service pitches which provides all you need for your stay. The wardens were most helpful throughout our stay which made it all the more enjoyable. This site is quite some way to travel to for us however we will have no hesitation in returning.

Weekend Away

Used this club site as a base to visit family, toilet block could do with updating. Beware at present as electricity supply has numerous power outages, which the wardens know about but don't inform anyone unless you mention it.

Overnight stop

My wife and I have used this site on several occasions as an overnight stop en route to the south west from the East Midlands. It is well placed and staff are welcoming and helpful. On our recent visit we did feel that the toilet block is in need of refurbishment, with flaking paint, damaged tiles and rusty chrome fittings, etc. This is in contrast to most Club sites where the standard of upkeep is higher as we have come to expect.

Relaxing couple of days.

Directions from M5 are good and easy to find site. Arrived slightly early due to quieter traffic conditions but wardens were very accomodating and we went straight ro a pitch. Site is very well kept and toilet block was spotless. Our pitch was at the rear of the site and a sunny spot although a little noise from the Statics behind the dividing hedge. Did not venture far as we had nice weather and sat by the van to relax. Burnham is not an upmarket resort and has obviously seen better days. Brean is more family friendly with a leisure park and its version of a "golden mile". Wifi was terrible on pitch 19 although this was a green zone on the site map. Did not manage to get logged in on one particular day. Now at Puuts Corner and although another "bronze" rated site, the difference is immense. Overall we had an enjoyable couple of nights as a stopover on the way to devon.

1st Club Experience

As the title suggests this was our first visit to a club site in our newly acquired motorhome. We were extremely impressed by the welcome, very friendly staff, helpful and informative. Having chosen our pitch we ventured out to the nearby beach for a bracing walk, very accessible from the site. We came back via the local cafe/bar and had a very pleasant glass of wine. All facilities on the site were immaculate, clean, tidy and well maintained. This site has set the standard for all our future stays, we look forward to experiencing the other sites during our travels.

Ideal break

This was our first outing of the season and it couldn't have been better. The weather was kind for April and we made the most of our location by walking to the beach over the sand dunes. The local facilities were first class and we intend to come back with our baby grandson when he is old enough th enjoy them. We also visited a couple of National Trust Properties near by. The site itself was clean and tidy and very quiet and the wardens were very pleasant. Definitely a site to return too ad it wasn't too far to travel for a short break
