High standard

This was our third time at the site. The welcome was friendly. The site is level and well laid out, well maintained and well up to CC standards. Toilet and wash faciities were clean, bright and odour free. Most of the site is away from the road so traffic noise is minimal. All CC personnel were pleasant and friendly, which sadly is not always the case elsewhere. We will certainly return.

A Break Away

Friendly welcome from the wardens, facilities on site excellent, high standard of cleanliness. The road outside the site is busy and we were aware of some road noise particularly in the mornings. Lots of birds around (it must be spring!) good walks from the site and lots to do in the area. We will definitely visit again.

What you might expect..plus

Ticks all the boxes for the high club site standards. Location and family's only got 4 stars as the road outside the site is very busy and no pavements. There is a path at the back of the site which has two walking routes but both were very muddy (March). A bit of music coming from over the fence whilst we were there. It is a terrific location for visiting this beautiful part of the country.

Very friendly and helpful site

The location was great and the layout well thought out, facilities all of an excellent standard. We had a problem on the first night with a leak of the flush liquid from the loo all over the carpet, Staff were excellent at helping us get cleared up and dry (given it was a February stay). Would highly recommend for families.

Nice Site

We booked for two nights, and stayed four, which says something. Nice site helpful wardens, toilets and showers very much up to the Caravan Club standards. Great place for touring what is a fascinating area, lots to do and see, even in February. You do however need a car or the like as it is out of the town of Wareham, and we didn’t see any buses going by, but there may have been some. Great walks in Wareham Forest just down the road. There is a gateway from the site into part of the forest, but as to be expected, this was very muddy, so take your wellies. Studland Bay is excellent and being winter the dog was able to run all over the beach. Nice big dog walking area, and playground in the corner of the site, plus a big field for youngsters to run round in. Would we go back? Yes, most certainly.

First trip with Caravan Club

We have been using a motorhome for some 40 years and we have just had our first experience of a Caravan Club site.  We were extremely impressed with the site, the friendly welcome from the site managers and the overall high standards. We look forward to our next stay at a club site.

Hunters Moon

Really nice site, very well kept, toilets and showers were spotless, pitches were large with bags of room for a caravan, awning and car, wardens were polite and helpful, it was our first stay here and we loved it, we will be back to stay again and can highly recommend this site, all amenities on site were really well planned with easy access, 10 out of 10,

First ever caravan trip

We purchased our first ever van on the monday and despite it being February felt compelled to try it out so headed to Hunters Moon. We have 3 children 6 Years and under and were impressed with the spotless and warm toilet blocks and facilities, the baby room was a real plus, the site staff welcoming and this is a great introduction to Caravan Club sites. The location is great but means you are fairly reliant on a car and there looks to be a great local pub 0.5 miles away but doesn't take children which is a shame. No hesitations in recommending this site and we will visit again.
