A restful stay

This was our second visit and as usual the welcome from the wardens was great and the facilities were immaculate. The whole site is well care for but not in an over-fussy way. It's a good site for touring the Jurassic Coast with some interesting places quite nearby. Wareham is worth a visit.

Great holiday

Arrived and met the friendly staff.  Pitch ideal and fully serviced.  Quiet 4 days.  Went to Monkey World, Poole, Swanage and a lot of other bays.  Would definitely recommend this site.  Will come back when we are down this way again.

Peaceful Easter

Despite arriving late on good Friday and having the last available pitch as fully booked, we had a nice weekend at Hunters moon. The staff are friendly and helpful, my husband and son had a great day at Bovington tank museum. My daughter and I had a nice muddy walk in the forest and we had a windy walk on the beach on Easter Sunday. We will be coming back again soon.

First time caravaners

This was our first ever caravan trip and all the staff at hunters moon caravan site were both extremely welcoming and helpful. We had to ask several times for help in setting up our caravan and nothing was too much trouble. The site was extremely clean and looked after, and was ideally situated close to local amenities and attractions. We would highly recommend the site and will definitely visit again in the future.

Wonderful Wareham

Second visit in a year, new wardens are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The site is beautifully kept and well maintained. We had a brilliant week and would recommend the site to everyone..

Relaxing weekend

Peaceful and relaxing few days at Hunter's Moon; site is looking very good and facilities were in excellent condition. Site staff all very friendly and welcoming and very hard working to keep this lovely site in top condition particularly so early in the season.

spring break

This is a very well run site. Facilities are well organised and very clean. Wardens are friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for exploring this great county. Try The Blue Vinney for dinner - excellent. Tank Museum and Monkey World are well worth a visit. The site works for a short break or a longer stay and we consider this one of the best sites we visit.

One of the best

Another week at this excellent CC site confirms our belief that it is one of the best.    A large site well set out and maintained which is close to many wonderful facilities.   We recommend Studland Beach; Arne nature reserve; Durleston Head Swanage (lunch at the new Castle Cafe - dogs and muddy boots welcome); a walk from Branksome Chine to Sandbanks (with lunch in the Jazz Cafe - dogs very welcome); Further to the west a visit to the abandoned village of Tynam is a must and a beautiful coastal walk from Osmington Mills to Ringstead.   If the fancy takes you lunch in the Smugglers Inn at Osmington will refresh you.  We shall be back for more soon.

Cold Harbour, Warm Welcome

We always stay at this site for the first and last holidays of the season. The site is excellent and we love the area. We'll be back towards the end of the year, looking forward to it.
