FIRST OUTING OF 2015

This is one of our favourite sites.  Cheryl and her husband are lovely but I wasn't impressed with the wi-fi.  We paid £10 but we were only there for 5 nights and we could only use 1 device.  My husband and me both have iPads & my mobile has an Internet connection.  We could only use 1 iPad which I find quite ludicrous.  Also the 24 hour deal for £2.50 needs revising. Why can't we pay for 24 hours and spread it over several days? After all no-one stays on their device for 24 hours.

First trip of 2015

Convenient site for Swanage and Corfe Castle. First time out in a motorhome after years in caravans so it was all very interesting. Not a good choice of pitch on our part as the quarry was quite noisy. Shower block kept well as are all Caravan Club ones but we did not find the water very warm in the showers.

Excellent site

The site is excellent the facilities are always clean, warm and available. The wardens are friendly and very accommodating. We arrive at various times due to ferry times and have always found them to be gracious and flexible if our arrival times go astray. We would thoroughly recommend this site. It is within easy driving distance of Wareham, Poole and Weymouth and has several lovely walks in the immediate area.

Happy New Year

This was our first time being away over the New Year break, and we stay four 4 nights. This was the first Caravan Club site we stayed at after becoming members last year. We loved it the first time we stayed, and the site did not disappoint again. The wardens are all so friendly and helpful. The shower blocks are as always spotless, and the general tidiness of the site is to the highest standard. The drinks party hosted by the wardens on New Year Eve was a lovely touch, and nice to chat to other members. If all goes well we will be back next New Year.

Good site in a lovely area

Stayed 1 night on our way to Folkestone for crossing to France. Cold frosty weather but lovely walk in Wareham Forest. Good facilities, staff helpful only problem motorhome service point tap frozen and no alternative to fill up.

A very nice site indeed

We stayed at this site for the nights either side of new year, the welcome was nice, facilities were excellent, and everyone on site was friendly and happy, the site is well inside the Wareham forest and while you could hear the occasionally noise from the local quarry working, it was enough to bother you, and we were at that end of the site. dog walking area was excellent and well defined away from the children's playground, the roadway are in good condition and the hard standings were in good order, well maintained. the only comment we would make is that it would have been nice if the disabled toilet could be opened while the wash rooms are being cleaned, it would also be nice if the local radio station could be played in the toilets to break the silence.

Christmas at Hunters Moon

Thanks we had a good Christmas and New Year with our daughter, son in law and dogs Molly and Lucy. The staff were very friendly, site and facilities kept very clean considering the site was nearly full. Drinks and snacks laid on by staff for christmas eve and new years eve. The only glitch was the loss of electric for short periods. Possibly due to high usage? Good site for walking holidays. Good pub in walking distance. Excellent dog walk on site. Thanks

Christmas and New Year 2014

The site was very clean and tidy with friendly wardens. Unfortunately the lower toilet block boiler was off one morning and the water cold but it was soon repaired. It is a bit far out and we would have liked milk and papers to have been available at the reception - especially as the site was quite full for the New Year. However, we did have a quiet and peaceful 8 nights.
